Best Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants

Best Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants

When it comes to visiting Walt Disney World, there’s one thing that many of us look forward to more than the attractions and meeting our favorite characters — the food, of course.

Though there’s nothing like sitting down at a nice Table Service restaurant, reservations can sometimes be hard to snag… and other times, you can end up spending valuable park time dining and miss out on a ride you really wanted to check out.

This is where Quick Service restaurants come in, and at Magic Kingdom, they’re especially plentiful.

While there are a lot of great options, not all Quick Service restaurants are created equally, and we are definitely guilty of playing favorites here.

Keep reading for the best Magic Kingdom Quick Service restaurants in the park. You can thank us for the recommendations later!

What is a Quick Service Restaurant?

Quick Service restaurants — which are also called Counter Service restaurants — are dining locations where you walk up to the counter (or use the My Disney Experience app) to order your food, rather than sitting down and having a server take your order.

Counter Service restaurants are often much more cost effective than Table Service restaurants, and many of them have wide ranging menus with plenty of meal and snack options, some that you won’t find at any other eatery in Disney World.

Can I Buy Alcohol at a Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurant?

One of the biggest differences in Quick Service restaurants vs. Table Service restaurants at Magic Kingdom is the fact that you cannot purchase alcohol at a Quick Service restaurant.

Options like beer, wine, and certain cocktails are only available in the sit-down restaurants, and even that is a pretty recent change. That doesn’t mean there aren’t some seriously yummy, alcohol-free options to be served here if you’re looking for something a bit fancier than soda or water.

Best Quick Service Restaurants at Magic Kingdom

We dive into all of the Quick Service restaurants at Magic Kingdom further down, but before we get to those (and their menus, among other important details), in our opinion these are the best Quick Service restaurants at Magic Kingdom.

While the park certainly isn’t known for it’s food (it’s no Epcot or Animal Kingdom), you can still find some food wins here and there.

Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe

pecos bill tall tale inn and cafe in magic kingdom
  • Why we love it: Themed after an Old West saloon, Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe is the spot if you’re craving Mexican food at Magic Kingdom. It’s located in Frontierland, and though the toppings bar that originally made this place a fan favorite is no longer offered, it’s still a yummy pick. Fajitas, tacos, nachos, rice bowls… the menu here is huge.

Columbia Harbour House

Columbia Harbour House
  • Why we love it: Okay, we know what you’re thinking: Theme park seafood? Really? But hear us out on this — the kind served at Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square is the good stuff. You can get your shrimp grilled, fried, or even in a seafood boil, and lobster rolls are also available here.

Casey’s Corner

casey's corner inside counter
  • Why we love it: This baseball-themed American eatery on Main Street is in the perfect location to grab dinner before the fireworks — you can either take your food to the tables outside, or to the hub grass nearby for a picnic. You will still be thinking about the corn dog nuggets long after your trip comes to an end, and they also serve hot dogs with unique toppings that change seasonally.

Aloha Isle Refreshments

aloha isle refreshments in magic kingdom
  • Why we love it: Sure, you can get a Dole Whip at a few different locations at Magic Kingdom… but the best ones are at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. From your basic Pineapple Float to themed frozen concoctions, you will find the sweet treat you’re looking for here.

Gaston’s Tavern

gaston's tavern at magic kingdom
  • Why we love it: Not only is Gaston’s Tavern’s theming on point (Beauty and the Beast fans are going to love it in there), but it’s also a great place to grab a couple of must-eat treats. Between the giant cinnamon roll and LeFou’s Brew, you can’t visit Fantasyland and not stop in.

Sleepy Hollow

sleepy hollow refreshments in magic kingdom
  • Why we love it: Have you ever been walking through Liberty Square and noticed people eating massive waffles covered in Nutella and fruit? Yeah, they got those at Sleepy Hollow, where you can also find giant Mickey waffles and cold brew coffee to start your morning off right.

Main Street Bakery

main street bakery starbucks at magic kingdom
  • Why we love it: Yes, this is a Starbucks location disguised as a quaint little bakery on Main Street — and that’s exactly why we love it. You simply can’t replace the joy that comes with holding a Disney-themed Starbucks cup as you make your way down Main Street first thing in the morning, and they also sell exclusive treats, like cupcakes and cookies, that you can’t find at a regular Starbucks outside of Disney World.
