One of the most unique elements of Epcot is the World Showcase, which is home to a total of 11 countries.
Exploring each of the pavilions is one of the best parts of the park, in addition to, of course, riding attractions, eating, and drinking around the world.
The countries have so much to look at, eat, drink, and buy. Plus, some even have special themed-entertainment and character meet and greets (like Alice and Mary Poppins)!
If you want to know more about the United Kingdom pavilion at Epcot, we have you covered.
Here we take a deep dive into the country that is popular and for good reason thanks to fish and chips, the pub (so many pints to choose from!), the chance to meet several Disney characters, the entertainment, and more.

Dining
In the United Kingdom pavilion, you’ll find 3 Quick Service options and 1 Table Service restaurant. All offer a variety of UK-inspired dishes and beverages.
Quick Service Restaurants
Rose & Crown Pub
Rose & Crown Pub is one of our favorite spots in the United Kingdom pavilion.
If you want authentic UK beer and other beverages, you’ll want to stop at the pub.
There is limited seating in here, which is great on a hot day. But, the tables fill up fast.
We recommend trying one of the pub blends, especially the Golden or as it is now known the “Golden Smith.”
This was originally half Harp Lager and Half Bass ale, but the latter is no longer being produced on tap for the states. So, the pub blend is half Harp Lager and half Smithwick’s.
Don’t worry, you can still order it as a Golden and it still very much tastes like the original.
You can also order food from the bar (usually just fish and chips or a scotch egg).
There is even a vegan fish and chips option (above) that’s delicious!
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a popular Quick Service spot. Sometimes the line builds here, but, thankfully, Mobile Order is available.
In addition to fish and chips, you can also just order a side of chips. These are some of the best fries in Disney World. And you get a decent amount for a good price!
Yorkshire also has select beers on tap.
UK Beer Cart
If you want to grab a quick beer as you’re passing through the pavilion, the UK Beer Cart is a good option.
You can’t get specialty offerings like you can inside Rose & Crown Pub, but there are usually a few beers on tap!
Table Service Restaurants
Rose & Crown Dining Room
The Rose & Crown Dining Room is the only Table Service restaurant in the United Kingdom pavilion.
The dining room is located next door to Rose & Crown Pub.
There is also outdoor seating here, offering great views of World Showcase Lagoon.
For lunch and dinner, you can order from a range of UK specialities, including fish and chips, bangers and mash, and sticky toffee pudding!
You can also from the same beverage menu served at Rose & Crown Pub.
Reservations are accepted (and recommended) here.
Seating Areas
There are several different seating areas throughout the pavilion.
Next to Yorkshire County Fish Shop, you’ll find a large outdoor seating area that has tables with umbrellas.
Rose & Crown Pub has a few tables inside, but these are usually reserved for anyone grabbing food and drinks from the bar.
By the UK Beer Cart and Rose & Crown Dining Room, there is also an uncovered outdoor seating area for anyone to use.
Shops
The UK pavilion has a wide range of shops to choose from.
The Toy Solider
The Toy Soldier is known for selling English toys, games, books, pop culture merchandise, and more.
Sometimes you can also find Winnie the Pooh items here, along with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell items.
The Crown & Crest
The Crown & Crest is a decent-sized store that sells a range of British items.
Plus, the decor is pretty cool.
You can get UK-themed apparel, have a UK crest put on a mug, or put your family coat of arms on a plaque.
You can also discover the history of your family name.
Lords and Ladies
Lords and Ladies is a smaller store, but it offers UK health and beauty items, like perfume, as you can see below.
The Queen’s Table
The Queen’s Table has a variety of options, including adorable Winnie the Pooh merchandise.
How adorable is this infant onesie?
Sportsman’s Shoppe
Are you a UK football fan? Then, you’ll want to make a stop inside the Sportsman’s Shoppe for various collections celebrating different teams.
If that isn’t enough, there is Rose & Crown merchandise!
You can even get a bag from The Leather Satchel Company monogrammed here.
The Tea Caddy
The Tea Caddy sells — you guessed it — tea. There are other things sold here, but this is where to go if you’re a tea fan.
You can also purchase a unique souvenir by creating your own tea chest.
For around $18, you get a wooden single-slot Twinings tea box and your choice of 10 select individual tea bags!
Entertainment
If you’re looking for some fun entertainment, you should definitely check out Command Performance (formerly The Hooligans).
They perform daily inside the gazebo!
You can find showtimes either in the My Disney Experience app or posted in the pavilion.
They are really good. They’re a local Orlando band playing British rock from the 1960s through the 1990s.
Characters
The United Kingdom pavilion is where you can meet, not 1, but 2 Disney characters!
Alice
First, there is Alice from Alice in Wonderland, who you can find in the front of the pavilion outside The Tea Caddy in the garden area.
You can meet her at different times throughout the day next.
Unfortunately, her meet and greet times are not posted in the My Disney Experience app.
Mary Poppins
Mary Poppins also roams the United Kingdom pavilion.
You can sometimes meet her in the back of the pavilion near the gazebo. Other times, you might find her in the same location Alice meets in the front garden area.
Meet and greet times, along with her exact location, are posted in the My Disney Experience app.
Activities
There are a few activities to try in the United Kingdom pavilion.
Hedge Maze
There is a fun (and complimentary) hedge maze in front of the gazebo! It is a great way to keep little ones entertained while they burn off energy.
Kidcot Fun Stop
Like the 10 other country pavilions in the World Showcase, the United Kingdom has a Kidcot Fun Stop location.
This is a fun family-friendly activity, that’s free and perfect for keeping kids interested as you make your way around the World Showcase.
At each stop, you collect an activity card detailing facts and activities featuring the culture and traditions of each country.
Currently, you can find United Kingdom’s Kidcot stop in The Toy Soldier.
Save this checklist and have your little one check off each Kidcot Fun Stop as you make your way through each country.
Coin Press Machine
The United Kingdom pavilion’s coin press machines are located in The Queen’s Table and inside The Toy Solider. You can either pay $1.00 for 1 themed-penny, or get 8 pressed pennies for $5.00.
Disney PhotoPass Photographer
If you want to take a nice photo in the United Kingdom pavilion, there may be a Disney PhotoPass photographer available.
They might not always be around, but if they are, you’ll be able to spot them either by the green umbrella they’re standing underneath or thanks to their photography equipment and Disney uniform.
You may even be able to have your photo taken on the steps in the garden area across from the gazebo!
Remember: unless you have Memory Maker, Memory Maker Day One, or a PhotoPass entitlement with your Annual Pass, you will have to pay to download or print these photos.
If there is a PhotoPass photographer, be sure to also ask if they have any fun “Magic Shots”!
Picture Spot
While there isn’t a Disney PhotoPass photographer here, taking pictures outside The Tea Caddy and near where Alice and Mary Poppins meet make for a super cute photo-pop!
Another, yet unofficial, and also very popular picture spot is at the telephone booths! How can you not get a photo here?
Fun fact: You used to be able to actually call these. Yes, they were once working phones. We don’t think you can do that anymore, but, hey, it doesn’t hurt to try! Here are the phone numbers courtesy of Orlando Informer (long distance rates may apply):
- Right phone booth: (407) 827-9861
- Left phone booth: (407) 827-9862
- Center phone booth: (407) 827-9863
Best Harmonious Views
You can find some decent Harmonious view in the United Kingdom pavilion.
However, there are a lot of trees in some areas, so you’ll want to be careful where you stand.
You can also sit in the seating area located next to the Rose & Crown Dining Room. The views here are quite nice — and it’s a bonus to have a seat after a long day.
There are also 2 nearby wheelchair accessible viewing sections — one towards the United Kingdom pavilion and the other near Port of Entry (shown below) for guests in wheelchairs and anyone in their party.
These areas will be roped off and are first-come, first-served. They can fill up fast, so you need to make sure you arrive at a decent time.
You may also think the seating area next to Yorkshire County Fish Shop would make a great spot to watch Harmonious.
While it is, more often than not this particular space is closed for private events. So keep that in mind!
FYI: There is also a Harmonious dining package available at Rose & Crown Dining Room that you can purchase if you want to sit and eat during the show.
Other reasons United Kingdom makes a great spot to watch Harmonious:
- Most importantly, there are restrooms in the pavilion and inside Rose & Crown Pub
- You can easily grab a snack and beverage at 3 Quick Service locations, even though the options are pretty much limited to fish and chips
- Canada isn’t far away, if you want other food and beverage choices
- There are several activities in the pavilion, like watching the band in the gazebo, the hedge maze, Kidcot Fun Stops, and more
Here’s what Harmonious’ view looks like from the United Kingdom pavilion:
Be sure to grab your viewing spot no less than 60 minutes before showtime. Space can fill up quickly.
You can find that night’s Harmonious showtime in the My Disney Experience app.

Restrooms
The United Kingdom has a set of restrooms located across from the Rose & Crown Dining Room.
You can’t miss them!
You should also know that there are smaller bathrooms inside the Rose & Crown Pub.
They are on the opposite end of the bar near the exit.
Animal Relief Area
There is an open outdoor relief area next to the restrooms available for guests visiting with service animals. You must pick up after the animal and leave the area clean. Find all animal relief locations on the official Disney World website.
Festival Exclusives
Like every other country in the World Showcase, different festival exclusives can be found in the United Kingdom pavilion.
This is for all 4 Epcot festivals: Food and Wine, Festival of the Holidays, Festival of the Arts, and Flower and Garden.
These include (to name a few):
- Festival food booths, like the Ireland booth during Food and Wine and the Cider House booth during Flower and Garden
- Join Father Christmas as he rings in the season, sharing the traditions of the United Kingdom and good cheer during Festival of the Holidays
- Cute Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan-themed topiaries on display for Flower and Garden
You should definitely take time to check out the United Kingdom pavilion, even if it’s just to grab a pint or try the fish and chips.
