While it’s only one section of the theme park, Epcot certainly wouldn’t be the same without the World Showcase.
The showcase is one big loop that’s 1.2 miles around in total featuring 11 country pavilions, with the World Showcase Lagoon directly in the middle.
Before diving into the countries, here are few other things you need to note about the World Showcase.
Entertainment
While there are different forms of entertainment throughout each pavilion, Harmonious is the main show that takes place in the center of the World Showcase Lagoon nightly.
The nighttime spectacular is not to be missed, especially for its representation and cultural diversity.
There are 15 Disney songs reimagined by 240 artists from across the globe and 13 different languages represented.
You can check the My Disney Experience app for the showtime.
Attractions
The World Showcase also has several family-friendly attractions, including:
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in the France pavilion
- Frozen Ever After in the Norway pavilion
- Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros in the Mexico pavilion
There are other attractions in Epcot that can be found in the different neighborhoods (the former Future World), including Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, Soarin’, Living with the Land, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, and Journey into Imagination with Figment.
Country Pavilions
As for the pavilions, there are 11 themed to different countries with specific architecture, landscaping, attractions, shopping, dining, and more.
They are even staffed by actual citizens from these countries, which include:
- Mexico
- Norway

- Italy
- United States (aka The American Adventure)
- Japan
- Morocco
- France
- United Kingdom
- Canada
The countries are a huge draw for good reason, especially with many guests looking forward to eating and drinking around the world.
As easy as it is to bypass the pavilions, we recommend spending time in each country and exploring.
