Stuck at home and looking for something to do before your next Disney World trip?

Lots of families (ours included!) turn to Disney+ as a way to pass the time.

One of our favorite things about all the options is how many of them have direct ties to some of our favorite Disney World attractions, restaurants, and character meet opportunities.

You could go to Disney World right now without ever having seen any Disney movies and still have a fantastic time, but we think it is a little bit more fun if you know the back story to some of the things you’ll see when you’re there.

So put on your favorite snuggle clothes, grab a cozy blanket, and get ready to cross off some of the movies from the list below!

Dreaming (or even planning!) a trip to Disney World?
Watch these:

We are sure there are some that we missed (and if so, please let us know in the comments below!) but to get you started, here are some of our favorites.

Keep in mind that when it comes to dining experiences, sometimes the characters can vary, but we listed the ones that typically have the character connected to the movie below.

Also, if a movie is represented only by a single character meet, we didn’t list it below unless there is a pretty elaborate set-up for the meet.

Important note: During the initial reopening of the parks, character meets have been temporarily suspended. In addition, some character meals have not yet reopened, and those that have now operate under a modified dining experience which basically means you can see the characters from a safe distance, but they will not be visiting your table.

For more information on how things work right now, check out our Complete Guide on Where to See Characters at Disney World for an updated list of what is currently available.
