The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has over 150 items to choose from – and most people won’t have the time (or the stomach capacity!) to try it all.
Wondering where to start? We’ve done the legwork for you, spending the first 2 days of the 2024 festival sampling everything available.
There were a lot of hits, a few misses, and everything in between. So, if you’re looking for the best of this year’s Flower and Garden Festival, check out our list below.
(And if you’re trying to figure out where NOT to spend your money, we also included a list of the things we enjoyed the least, too.)
Best Food at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2024
Our rating scale has 5 as the highest and 1 as the lowest. So, if a menu item scores 5 out of 5, you know it’s good!
Although we truly loved a TON at this festival (which isn’t always the case), the following food options scored 4.7 and above, making them our overall top-rated food dishes.
But there are dozens more that were close to the cut. You can find those listed in the data we’ve linked at the bottom of this post.
Citrus Blossom
This booth not only wins for having the cutest mascot (Orange Bird) but it also knocks it out of the park with their delicious shrimp!
Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp
Sesame Tempura Shrimp served with an orange chile sauce.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Fantastic portion, light breading, orange chile sauce is a great flavor component to the shrimp.
Felicia: The tempura battering is cooked well and is super crunchy and fresh. My only complaint is there isn’t enough of the orange sauce.
Florida Fresh
While you can also get a lobster tail here (which is a great value if you’re using a Disney Dining Plan Snack Credit), it was the miniature Cuban sandwich that stole our hearts.
Cubanito
A miniature Cuban sandwich made with mojo-marinated pork belly, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and stone ground mustard sauce.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Admittedly I’m a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches, and I do really like this one. Mustard really comes through and all the flavors are delicious.
Heather: Hella delicious! COME ON – this is a hearty little snack and oh so yummy!
Felicia: Great flavors on perfectly crispy bread. Love it.
Honey Bee-stro
Hands down, the Chicken and Wafflesone of the most filling and delicious options at the Flower and Garden Festival.
Chicken and Waffles
Crispy honey-brined chicken and honey sweet cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and spicy honey.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Sooo good. Surprising flavors in the waffle. Has a little kick to it.
Heather: It is sweet, a little spicy, and really, really good.
Felicia: What a fun twist on chicken and waffles. The corn bread waffle is tasty and soft. The chicken is crispy and spicy in a good way. And the honey butter is the perfect amount of sweet.
Tangierine Cafe
If we could only have 1 flatbread the rest of our lives, we want it to be this one.
Mediterranean Flatbread
Mediterranean Flatbread with chermoula, roasted vegetables, artichokes, olives, and feta cheese.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum yum yum. What a fantastically colorful and flavorful flatbread. Great size too – could make a light lunch if it.
Heather: One of my favorite items at this festival. The tangy cheese with the sweet tomatoes and the bite of the olives – DELISH. This is not your generic flatbread!
Felicia: Absolutely delicious. The bread is doughy but holds up to the toppings. Lots of good flavors with the sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, and olives. The cheese and sauce on top are also so flavorful and delicious. Huge portion. Love.
La Isla Fresca
Honestly, you could order anything from here and be happy – including the Coconut Tres Leches cake which is how we imagine heaven might be.
Coconut Tres Leches
Coconut Tres Leches is a vanilla cake soaked in oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk with toasted coconut. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Love the light coconut flavor. Manages to be soft without being soggy.
Heather: One of my favorite sweets from this festival! Loved it. Coconut without being fake and not too sweet.
Felicia: This was so good. The coconut is light, the whipped topping is light and perfectly sweet, not too much. The cake is moist and delicious but not soggy. So good and perfect on a hot day if you need (or want) a dessert.
Jardin de Fiestas
There is a reason this booth always seems to have a long line – and their savory items for this year’s festival are definitely worth the wait!
Tamale de Rajas
Poblano peppers, corn, and cheese in masa topped with poblano cream sauce, crema mexicana, pickled carrots and onions with chives.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Don’t even normally like tamales but this is delicious. Good portion and love the creamy sauce.
Heather: Me before my first bite “I don’t like the texture of tamales.” Me after my first bite: GET YOUR GRIMY HANDS OFF MY LATEST OBSESSION! This is delicious. And hearty. Loved it!
Felicia: Everything about this is delicious. It’s cheesy, a bit tangy from the salsa verde, and the corn on the tamale is perfect. Big portion, too.
Magnolia Terrace
While all of this panini is a delight, the olive salad is *chef’s kiss*.
Muffuletta Panini
A muffuletta panini with ham, salami, mortadella, provolone, and Swiss with olive salad.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Nice portion, good flavors. Slightly salty.
Heather: So very good. Love the olives. Great flavor – nice portion size
Felicia: Huge portion, so much delicious melty cheese, salty olive salad complements that complements the sandwich well. The bread on the muffuletta is crispy and great.
Northern Bloom
Canada came in strong this festival! We recommend starting with the beef tenderloin and then maybe following that up with the cake as a chaser.
Beef Tenderloin Tips
Beef tenderloin tips, mushroom bordelaise sauce, and whipped potatoes with garden vegetables.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Really loved this. Better than previous years. Tender meat, delicious potatoes and crunchy carrots.
Heather: The mashed potatoes and gravy are on point. The beef was incredibly tender. I didn’t love this last year-but bless the Canadians for giving us this mouth masterpiece.
Felicia: The bordelaise sauce and mashed potatoes are good and the beef this year is super tender and delicious. So much better than last year and I love it.
Best Drinks at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival 2024
And now for the drinks. All of these drinks scored at least a 4.7 out of 5 and would definitely be things we’d all purchase again (and again!).
Bauernmarkt
Germany always has some of our favorite beers!
Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier
A pale amber wheat with notes of banana and clove brewed by Weihenstephaner in Bavaria, Germany
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Loved this one. Light but delicious.
Heather: This beer is like finding a long lost friend. It’s what a beer should be.
Felicia: Delicious. Orange and clove is strong, but in a good way. It’s still light and refreshing. Love it.
Hanami
Japan surprised us this year! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of the drinks on the menu for 2024, but the lemonade, cocktail, and the beer were our favorites.
Watermelon-Strawberry Lemonade
A tart and refreshing watermelon flavored lemonade.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yummmm. The light watermelon flavors are so fresh.
Heather: Delicious lemonade – incredibly refreshing and the combo of strawberries and watermelon really works.
Felicia: So tart and fresh and overall refreshing. Love the strawberry flavor. There are a lot of seeds though but that doesn’t bother me.
Cherry Blossom Green Tea Pilsner
A crisp and refreshing pilsner brewed with cherry blossoms and green tea by Orange Blossom Brewing in Orlando, FL.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: This fruity Pilsner is fantastic. Perfect for this festival.
Heather: Definitely notes of orange without being sweet or overpowering. Would get a large sized version!
Felicia: I love this beer. Tastes the perfect amount like cherry blossom. It’s not too sweet though and it’s such a fun and unique flavor. Highly recommend.
Ichigo Breeze Cocktail
A sake based cocktail made with flavors of strawberry and watermelon.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Love the combo of the fresh watermelon and sake. Small portion.
Heather: Very refreshing! I enjoy it because it isn’t sickeningly sweet or too heavy on the alcohol! Watermelon and strawberry are a winning team.
Felicia: This could be served colder, but it’s otherwise delicious. The sake blends perfectly with the strawberry lemonade. So refreshing. Can recommend both versions. There are seeds though if that sort of thing bothers you.
Refreshment Outpost
The Refreshment Outpost is open year-round, but during the festivals they have several selections that are exclusive and we almost always love at least one of them!
SweetWater Brewing Co. Fruit Punch IPA
A fruit punch flavored India pale ale brewed by SweetWater Brewing Co. in
Our Thoughts
Shannon: So good! The light fruit punch taste is a welcome addition.
Heather: My favorite out of all of the beers and ciders here. Not usually an IPA fan but this is delicious and fruity.
Felicia: The fruit flavor on this is not overt but is definitely present. Could drink this all day. Tastes like fruit punch beer.
Refreshment Port
Don’t sleep on Refreshment Port during the festivals. Much like Refreshment Outpost, they too have festival exclusives, and nearly always we’ll love at least one of them!
Country Boy Brewing Orange Cream Hard Cider
A hard cider with flavors of orange and vanilla that are reminiscent of orange push-pops, brewed by Country Boy Brewing in Kentucky.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Deliciously creamy and light cider. Great portion size. Love.
Heather: It’s not over the top creamy, but it is very good! It only comes in a large size – which is okay because it is easy to drink!
Felicia: Generally don’t like creamy beers but this one isn’t too creamy and the orange is refreshing. I like this one.
United Kingdom Beer Cart
This year, the UK Beer Cart has 1 festival item, and we were all surprised just how much we loved it!
Scottish Thistle (NEW)
Fords Gin with lemon and blackcurrant-cucumber syrup garnished with cucumber.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Holy moly what a great slushy drink. Refreshing, delicious combo of flavors.
Heather: Ok whaaaaa? I know I say I don’t like cucumbers but this is like REALLY good. Light and refreshing.
Felicia: Delicious and fresh. Cucumber flavor is strong so definitely need to like that to like this drink. Can’t taste the liquor.

I find the festival's gourmet offerings to be a mixed bag. It seems like the emphasis is more on novelty than quality. Would love to be proven wrong this year.

Heard Bauernmarkt's got good drinks, but I’m there for the food. Hope my stomach has room for both!

I just don't get why people rave about festival food. It’s pricey and not always great. Is Epcot's Flower and Garden really that different?

Tangierine Cafe seems like a splendid place to experience flavors from Morocco. Love the inclusion of diverse cuisines at the festival.
