The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is no joke when it comes to food and drinks.
There are over 150 items to choose from, which may sound completely overwhelming — and understandably so.
But, don’t worry, you have plenty of time to try multiple items (and even eat and drink the ones you love over and over again). This year’s Flower and Garden started on March 1 and runs through July 5.
If you’re thinking to yourself, “How can I narrow down everything I want to try?” That’s where we come in!
We attended this year’s festival on the first two days — and tried every food and beverage item. We can point you in the right direction so you’re not wasting your time and money.
Below, we go over the best food and drinks at Epcot Flower and Garden 2023. These are the food and drinks we think you should take the time for, even if you do have to use a trashcan as your table (IYKYK).
Let’s get to it!

Who wants some Chicken and Waffles?
You can find the Chicken and Waffles at The Honey Bee-stro, which is located near Port of Entry close to Trowel & Trellis and Refreshment Port. This booth never disappoints, just like these Chicken and Waffles.
Chicken and Waffles
Crispy honey-brined chicken and honey sweet cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and spicy honey. This is a new festival item for 2023.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Sooo good. Surprising flavors in the waffle. Has a little kick to it.
Heather: It is sweet, a little spicy, and really, really good.
Felicia: What a fun twist on chicken and waffles. The corn bread waffle is tasty and soft. The chicken is crispy and spicy in a good way. And the honey butter is the perfect amount of sweet.
A sugar cane shrimp skewer
The Sugar Cane Shrimp Skewer is sold at La Isla Fresca (an overall solid and delicious kitchen). This booth is between the Morocco and France pavilions, closer to Tangierine Café.

Our Thoughts

Don’t pass on the Watermelon Salad
Florida Fresh is a new booth in 2023, and we’re so glad it was added. This is where you can get some amazing Watermelon Salad. The outdoor kitchen is near Disney Traders and Jardin de Fiestas.
Watermelon Salad
A crisp watermelon salad made with blueberries, pickled red onions, balsamic, and feta. This item is new for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Like this combo of fresh flavors. This is the kinda thing I hope to find at F&G Festival.
Heather: I’m not a huge watermelon fan (don’t @ me) but this salad is very good! Wished it was cold, though.
Felicia: Loved this. Refreshing watermelon, delicious blueberries, the acid from the balsamic goes well with the fruit and the saltiness of the feta. Yum.
Allyson: Love love love this. So light and refreshing, with fantastic flavor. Great portion too.
Cheesecake!
The Local Wildflower Honey Mascarpone Cheesecake is a truly fantastic cheesecake — and it’s so pretty! This can be ordered at The Honey Bee-stro near Port of Entry, just like the Chicken and Waffles (mentioned above).
Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake
Honey-mascarpone cheesecake with honey whipped cream, whipped honey, crystalized honey, honeycomb, dehydrated honey, and fennel pollen meringue kisses.
Our Thoughts

Heather: Delicious. Loved it. Light and fresh.
Felicia: Delicious. The cheesecake is a solid cheesecake and all of the various honey components are good and add to it. Slight orange flavor.
Allyson: Liked this so much more this year than last year. A solid cheesecake.
A hummus plate for sharing
Plant-based? Check. Generous portion? Check. Delicious? Check. You can’t beat the Hummus Trio found at Tangierine Café in Morocco.
Hummus Trio
A hummus trio with traditional hummus, red beet and black garlic hummus, and an avocado-herb hummus served with Moroccan bread and crispy papadam. This is a new item for 2023. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts

Felicia: Great portion size, cool and refreshing and every hummus is unique and super flavorful. Love love love this.
Allyson: Absolutely gorgeous and tastes wonderful. Such a great snack and perfect for sharing. Can’t wait to get this again.
Where are our coconut fans?
We loved this last year and we walked away loving the plant-based dessert again. La Isla Fresca’s Coconut Tres Leches is one of the best sweet treats at the festival.
Coconut Tres Leches
Coconut Tres Leches is a vanilla cake soaked in oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk with toasted coconut. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Love the light coconut flavor. Manages to be soft without being soggy.
Heather: One of my favorite sweets from this festival! Loved it. Coconut without being fake and not too sweet.
Felicia: This was so good. The coconut is light, the whipped topping is light and perfectly sweet, not too much. The cake is moist and delicious but not soggy. So good and perfect on a hot day if you need (or want) a dessert.
Allyson: Give me all the coconut. Love this so much. So so good. And it’s plant-based!

Felicia: Huge portion, so much delicious melty cheese, salty olive salad complements that complements the sandwich well. The bread on the muffuletta is crispy and great.
This kebab is worth a stop
Tangierine Café can do wrong with their kebabs, including the Lamb Kefta Grilled Kebab. The booth’s kebab game just seems to get better every year.

Our Thoughts
Shannon: Good flavors. Slightly spicy. Strange texture to the lamb.
Heather: They knock it out of the park here. Don’t sleep on these kebabs!

This kebab is also worth a stop
Just like the lamb kebab (above), there is also the Chermoula Chicken Grilled Kebab at Tangierine Café. Basically, you should get both.

Shannon: Incredibly tender chicken. Delicious flavors. Loved.
Heather: Yes it is “just” chicken but man is it good! Amazing flame kissed flavors of yumminess!
Felicia: Delicious chicken. It’s tender and delicious. The chickpea and carrot salad is both sweet and spiced and complements the chicken well. Nice portion.
Braised Oxtail is much better than it sounds
The Braised Oxtail at La Isla Fresca makes a great light meal all by itself. You won’t want pass up this dish!

Felicia: Huge portion and a rich flavor that is tasty. The ox tail is very tender and the rice has a nice spice to it.
This new dish in France is a winner
France’s Fleur de Lys booth has done it again. The Daube de Boeuf à la Provençal, Compote de Tomate au Romarin Gnocchi à la Niçoise (a provençal-style braised beef, rosemary tomato, and niçoise gnocchi) is both fancy and tasty.

Order the big size of this double IPA
The Parish Brewing Co. Ghost in the Machine Double IPA from Magnolia Terrace is a fantastic beer. Now, if you don’t like IPAs, you might not be a fan. But, if you are, order this, stat.

The perfect brunch cocktail
BRUNCHCOT (near Test Track) is a great booth to order brunch-style food, along with this Joffrey’s Coffee Cold Brew Cocktail. The coffee and alcohol mix perfectly.

Heather: Tastes like a coffee flavored martini! Yum!
Felicia: Delicious. Big coffee flavor, lots of alcohol flavor but not overpowering, and the perfect amount of sweetness.
Allyson: A great cold coffee cocktail. Such a good coffee flavor. Nice and chilled. But you may want to avoid on a hot day — might be too creamy or milky.

Not only should you visit Citrus Blossom inside The Odyssey to be able to sit at an indoor table with air conditioning, but you should also go for the UFO Beer Co. Citrus Hazy Wheat Beer.

Felicia: Very light wheat that is refreshing. Light orange flavors. Great beer for the heat.
Allyson: A good hazy wheat beer that has wonderful orange flavors. Great for a hot day.
