September at Disney World

September at Disney World has low crowds, warm temps, some fun events to attend and often even has Free Dining.

I think early May and all of September are fantastic times to visit Disney World. It’s a chance to enjoy lots of fun activities while having lower prices and fewer people.

Some tips for traveling in September:

  • Although most people think low crowds = less planning, 1 thing that is more important to plan during lower crowds is figuring out the best park for each day of your trip. During busy times, the crowds are spread more evenly across the parks since nighttime entertainment is offered nightly. When traveling in September, you should pay special attention to the best/worst parks chart (linked in the upper right of this page) to avoid the busiest crowds.
  • Weather in September is still pretty hot. Consider taking mid-day breaks from the sun and crowds during your trip.
