The pros and cons of every Epcot restaurantEpcot has an abundance of dining options and it's often hard to know where you should eat.

(That's 1 reason it's fun to stay at an Epcot-area resort: you can go to Epcot for dinner every night and try a new place to eat.)

I've put together a list of the restaurants with prices, tips, links to menus + lots more.

QUICK SERVICE RESTAURANTS

L'Artisan del Glaces

Price range: $4-8
Location: France section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, snack credits

Pros: Several delicious ice cream flavors available

Cons: Often long lines and crowded, can be hard to find

Tips: Consider ordering the ice cream martini for a unique treat


Block & Hans

Price range: $4-9
Location: American Adventure section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, pretzels are snack credits

Pros: Craft beers and pretzels available here and make a great combo

Cons: Limited menu and seating

Tips: Seasonal options sometimes available


Boulangerie Patisserie

Pros: Great use of snack credits on the Disney Dining Plan and lots of great food options including tarts, croissants, mousse, cookies, eclairs, cake, cheese plates and quiches.

Cons: Lines can be long, not many restrooms available for the amount of people that are often located here

Tips: Although the World Showcase isn't open during breakfast hours, this bakery is open


Cantina de San Angel

Price range: $8-12
Location: Mexico section

Pros: Menu includes several options (empanadas de queso, tacos de pollo, nachos, guacamole con totopas, cheese empanadas and chicken fingers), seating areas nearby offer great views

Cons: Outdoor seating, tables are often dirty

Tips: Find seating near the water for a great view of the lagoon


La Cava del Tequila

Cons: Limited seating, busy at night, full meals aren't served

Tips: Visit in the afternoon to avoid busy times


Electric Umbrella

Price range: $8-11

Pros: Good for people who like standard theme park food, unlimited refills on drinks, lots of seating for large groups

Cons: Lines can be very long, sub-par food

Tips: Avoid the lunch rush when lines can be really busy - arrive before 11:30 or after 1:30


Fife & Drum Tavern

Price range: $4-10
Location: American Adventure section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, snack credits

Pros: Popular treats like turkey legs and The American Dream slush available here

Cons: No seating, though you can find some nearby

Tips: Two ordering windows available here, souvenir popcorn buckets for sale


Fountain View

Price range: $3-6/drink
Location: Future World

Pros: Favorite Starbucks drinks and treats available right in the middle of Future World with a fair amount of indoor seating

Cons: Limited menu

Tips: Most items are Starbucks, but look for Disney's cupcakes in the case as well

Kabuki Cafe

Cons: No seating

Tips: The Japan section has great outdoor areas so find a shaded spot to sit down and enjoy your snacks


Katsura Grill (formerly named Yakitori House)

Price range: $8-13
Location: Japan section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Several Japanese food options (including sushi, miso soup and Teriyaki chicken), rarely a line

Cons: Indoor seating is limited, though there are many picturesque places to sit outside

Tips: Order the green iced tea with your meal (it's delicious)


Kringla Bakeri og Cafe

Price range: $2-10
Location: Norway section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Several delicious options to choose from, usually less crowded than the bakery in the France section

Cons: Seating isn't inside in air conditioning but is covered

Tips: Try the popular School Bread which is a soft pastry filled with sweet vanilla cream and topped with coconut


Liberty Inn

Location: American Adventure section

Pros: Standard fare for those who want something familiar (cheeseburgers, barbecue pork sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken nuggets)

Cons: Food quality is sub-par compared to other options available at Epcot

Tips: For people who need a place to relax and cool off, this is usually a sure bet with short lines and good air conditioning


Lotus Blossom Cafe

Price range: $7-12
Location: China section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Portions are generous (my son and I usually split 1 entree)

Cons: Tables aren't indoors in air conditioning but are covered, open-air seating

Tips: Try the orange chicken and oolang tea


Promenade Refreshments

Price range: $3-9
Location: Promenade between Future World and World Showcase
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, snack credits

Pros: Quick place to grab basic snacks like popcorn

Cons: Very limited menu, no seating

Tips: Snacks change out seasonally and include things like Spiced Rum Dole Whip during the Flower and Garden Festival


Refreshment Port

Price range: $3-9
Location: Near the Canada section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Great place to grab snacks and drinks on the go

Cons: No seating or cover from the elements, just a grab-and-go location

Tips: Try the poppers and mojito


Refreshment Cool Post

Price range: $4-7
Location: Between China and Germany sections

Sommerfest

Price range: $3-11
Location: Germany section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Nice options including bratwurst with sauerkraut, frankfurters, salted pretzels, Black Forest cake, apple strudel, German beers and wine

Cons: Limited seating

Tips: Brats, pretzels and beer are very popular


Sunshine Seasons

Location: In the Land pavilion (same building as Soarin')

Pros: Huge variety of food to choose from with sections that include the Asian Wok Shop, the Sandwich Shop and Bakery, the Soup and Salad shop, the Wood-Fired Grill Shop, and a Grab & Go section

Cons: Seating area can be quite hectic

Tips: Since Soarin' is in the same building, it can be convenient to plan to eat here based on when you'll be riding Soarin'. Since there are several different food sections (similar to a food court), it can be helpful to split up and come back together to pay at the registers.


Tangierine Cafe

Price range: $9-16
Location: Morocco section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: This location offers great options for adventurous palettes as well as less adventurous. Choices include platters of lamb & chicken with couscous, hummus and chicken and lamb wraps. Portions are generous and some might want to split a meal here.

Cons: Indoor seating is limited (though outdoor seating is available)

Tips: Near the area where you pay for your food, be sure to check out the dessert case which has baklava, specialty coffees and icee-style drinks.


Test Track Cool Wash

Price range: $3-9
Location: Future World, near exit of Test Track
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, snack credits

Pros: Convenient spot to grab a frozen drink as you exit Test Track

Cons: Can have long lines, especially during the mid-day heat

Tips: Souvenir cups are available at this location


UK Beer Cart

Price range: $8-14
Location: United Kingdom section (at Rose and Crown)
On the Disney Dining Plan? No

Cons: Only beer available here

Tips: Souvenir beer steins are available to purchase


Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Price range: ~$10
Location: United Kingdom section

Pros: The fish and chips (the only thing on the menu) are delicious

Cons: No indoor seating available (though there are many great outdoor areas in the U.K. section to sit)

Tips: If you just want chips (fries), you can use a snack credit to get those

TABLE SERVICE RESTAURANTS

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Price range: $40-50/adults, $25-30/kids

Pros: Chance to meet the princesses, great use of a Table Service credit when using the Disney Dining Plan

Cons: Expensive if paying out-of-pocket, waits can be long even with a reservation

Tips: Eat breakfast here if you have picky eaters since lunch and dinner feature foods that are a bit more adventurous


Biergarten

Price range: $25/adult at lunch, $35-40/adult at dinner (kids are $15-20 for lunch and dinner)
Location: Germany section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Buffet-style meal is a great way to sample German food, German entertainment takes place on the stage area

Cons: The family-style seating means you'll probably be seated with other people which may not appeal to some people

Tips: The lunch and dinner menus are the same but lunch is less expensive so make a reservation for lunch to save a bit of money


Le Cellier Steakhouse

Price range: $26-56 per entree
Location: Canada section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes, 2 Table Service credits

Pros: All of the food I've ever tried here has been great, especially the cheese soup and pretzel bread. Service is fantastic at this restaurant.

Cons: Expensive

Tips: If you like the pretzel bread, you can ask to take some with you to have later. Book reservations here 180 days in advance as it's a difficult reservation to get.


Chefs de France

Price range: $24 for lunch, $40 for dinner
Location: France section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Lots of windows make it a nice way to sit in the air conditioning but still see outside. Service and food are usually great.

Cons: Tables are close together

Tips: Try the escargot, onion soup, Gruyere macaroni and cheese and creme brulee.


Coral Reef

Pros: The view of the aquarium is the star here, can be a good use of Disney Dining Plan credits given the price of the entrees

Cons: Food and service aren't consistent and often not great

Tips: The mahi mahi gets great reviews


Garden Grill

Price range: Breakfast pricing is $29.99 for adults, and $17.99 for children. Lunch is $34.99 for adults, and $19.99 for children. Dinner is around $40 for adults, and $20 for children.
Location: In The Land Pavilion
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: This character meal is served family-style and is all-you-can-eat with the meal. While you eat, the restaurant rotates slowly and Mickey, Chip, Dale and Pluto stop by for a visit. This is a great use of a Table Service credit when using the Disney Dining Plan.

Cons: Can be a bit tricky to get to and strollers aren't allowed after a certain point

Tips: It is often possible to get a reservation here when many others aren't available. Now that they serve all 3 meals, it's a great place to get a pre-park opening breakfast reservation.


La Hacienda de San Angel

Price range: ~$25
Location: Mexico section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Fresh Mexican dishes, options to sit indoors or on an outdoor terrace

Cons: Service can be inconsistent

Tips: Many people want to view Illuminations from the terrace here but they fill up so you'll need an early reservation to snag one of those coveted spaces


Monsieur Paul (formerly called Bistro de Paris)

Price range: ~$40 for all entrees
Location: France section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Quiet restaurant with upscale offerings like filet mignon, escargot, duck breast, souffle and creme brulee

Cons: Expensive

Tips: If you get a window seat for a late dinner, you can watch Illuminations from your table


Nine Dragons Restaurant

Price range: $15-25/entree

On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Recently renovated, usually easy to get a reservation

Cons: Recent reviews of the food and service have been pretty negative

Tips: Try General Tso’s Chicken Dumplings or the Appetizer Trio which will allow you to sample the cucumber salad, spicy beef and fragrant chicken


Restaurant Marrakesh

Price range: $15-20/entree for lunch, $25-30/entree for dinner
Location: Morocco section

Pros: Moroccan music and belly dancer entertain diners while they eat, usually easy to get a reservation, good chance to sample Moroccan foods

Cons: Picky eaters may not like the menu

Tips: The lunch and dinner menus are similar but lunch is less expensive so eat here for lunch to save some money.


Rose and Crown Pub and Dining

Price range: $15-30/entree
Location: United Kingdom section
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Good food and lots of beer, scotch, cider and cognac options

Cons: Service gets mixed reviews, indoor seating is limited

Tips: The pub and dining room are separate (the pub is walk-up while the dining room is for reservations). Try a pub blend for a really unique beer and the cottage pie for your meal. The outdoor patio is a great place to view Illuminations.


San Angel Inn Restaurante

Price range: $20-25/entree
Location: inside the Mexico pyramid
On the Disney Dining Plan? Yes

Pros: Authentic Mexican food, strong margaritas and great ambiance

Cons: Food reviews have often been inconsistent (though the reviews are trending more positive recently)

Tips: Ask for a table by the water


Spice Road Table

Pros: Hibachi-style meal with good food and entertaining chefs. Kids' meals are served in a monorail dish. Service is known for being great here.

Cons: You'll be seated with other diners which some people may not like, can be loud when it's busy

Tips: Try some sake with your meal


Tokyo Dining

Price range: $25-30/entree
Location: Japan section

Price range: Large wood-fired pizza serving 3-5 people is about $40
Location: Italy section

Pros: Casual dining in a beautiful (and new) restaurant

Cons: Restaurant can be loud

Tips: If you're using the Disney Dining Plan and order a pizza, everybody at the table will have 1 Table Service credit deducted for the meal
