Love this post and your similar ones about food options in the other parks!! One request….could you please add the location for each of these in your list? For instance, the country if it’s in the World Showcase or the land if it’s in Future World. That would be so helpful for planning purposes. Thanks!!!!

We ate at the Coral Reef on our day there. It was FANTASTIC! One of the best meals I have had anywhere, including a very tasty and well done Octopus for an appetizer, a fancy Shrimp & Grits for the entrée and a Bailey’s Chocolate Mousse dessert. This meal was 5 stars across the board. It was hot or else we would have enjoyed the walk around the world and sampling their foods more.

Julie

At Via Napoli, they do have individual pizzas, so you don’t have to get pizza if you’re going there. However, how could you go there and NOT get pizza?

Also, dinner at the Biergarten is more expensive due to the fact that they only have entertainment at dinner.

Cara

Is this really true? I was thinking about going for lunch, but if there is no entertainment will have to reconsider!

Jon

I have been there for lunch a few times and they have entertainment then, also.

Jenn

Hi, all the links to menu that I’m clicking on are coming back, “somebody ate that page” with stitch.

Michelle Stenson

We are planning a trip to Florida next year with our 3 year old. We wanted to go for a romantic meal for our anniversary.we wanted to try and watch the fireworks at the same time. Any tips where to go for romance with a 3 yr old and see the fireworks.xx

Lynne

We’ve decided to add Epcot to our trip this September and will be there 9/23. The Garden Grill is fully booked, but I read on another forum that it might be possible to walk up early around 4 pm when they open for dinner and get in. There are five of us. Have you heard of anyone getting in this way?

Vida B

Amazing post. I’ve been to Epcot a bunch of times and have missed so much!
Of the restaurants I’ve been to, I can say that your assessments are spot-on.

Just a note though, the photo that you have for Liberty Inn isn’t Liberty Inn, it’s Kringla.

Jessica

I don’t believe akershus has a print package any longer.

Elise

Wondering if Mickey is always at Garden Grill….? Or only sometimes.

Sydney Fischer

mickey is usually always at the garden grill and he has a lot of interaction with you while you eat.

Jenny

Does anyone know if Via Napoli has gluten-free pizza? We are planning our first trip to WDW and would like to know the best places to eat that serve gluten-free options.

Kristen

I can’t vouch for Via Napoli having gluten free pizza, but I can say that Disney will work with you on special food needs. Let them know when you make a reservation as well as your waiter/waitress. A chef will come out and let you know what your options are for food and sometimes they will make something special if needed. They did that for my son who is gluten and dairy free. As for the pizza, you might could check their menu out online or call Disney Dining . Good luck!

Hi Shannon, silly question but do you know of anywhere else in Disney that sells the Poutine? Hubby is taking me on a birthday/babymoon trip in August and I can’t have Le Celliars delicious steak cooked the way I prefer being pregnant but craving poutine and think Disney might have an issue of me booking a reservation at their 2 credit restaurant (regardless of whether we have dining plan or not) to get fries. Lol. Was just curious if there was a way around booking sit down signature for the dish. Thanks 🙂

Jade

Don’t be silly! I’ve gone to Le Cellier for the appetizers and drinks! They don’t care what you order 🙂 Go and enjoy yourself!

Jade

Also – golden oaks at MK sells poutine 🙂

Susan

These tips are amazing!!
sidenote: The Refreshment Port (by Canada) is the only place in all of Disney to get a Crossaint Donut (Cronut). You can add soft serve ice cream on top. They are to die for! We looped the showcase so we could get another one.

Krystal B

Do you happen to know if that qualifies as a snack crdit on the dining plan? That sounds amazing and I’ve yet to try a Cronut…wht not at Epcot?! Thanks!

elisabeth

Garden grill is yummy. Lots of character interaction too. We did dinner and they were able to add on 4 family members at the last minute.

Bethany

I remember last year at Epcot, a couple friends and I went into I believe Nine Dragons. It’s quite gorgeous, barely any traffic(customers), and it’s quiet with good service. The food was actually delicious! It’s a bit pricey for high schoolers like we were, but not too bad. The best thing is, it seems it’d be good most of the time as it was during most school’s spring break week. The menu is great. If you ever visit, I highly recommend trying this one!

Jonathan

Great info. Going to wdw in sept. I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and cant deside were to dine in epcot. I have the dinning plan. Was thinking of coral reef or grill garden any input would be appreciated.

Julie

Go Garden Grill. The character interaction is the best hands down at WDW. We have been visited by the characters three to four times on most of our visits there. Plus, it’s served family style at the table so no having to get up and walk the buffet.

Lisa

Hi Shannon! I have been reviewing this post for several weeks now since Epcot has soo many restaurant options. Our trip is planned for the second week of June and I was wondering if you have any suggestions for Breakfast at Epcot?

Denise LeBlanc

Hi Shannon! I have reservations in March for Chefs de France. I made them around Remy’s appearance for my son who loves Ratatouille. I recently read on disboards that after oct 24, remy will no longer be making appearances. Is this rumor or true? Do you know? Thanks!!!

Elise

What is your favorite quick service restaurant in World Showcase? (Anyone)

Susan

Thank you for the great, helpful info!

Robin

Another home run Shannon! You have just the right touch with content. Each of these restaurants could (and do elsewhere) have pages of content but you boil it down to manageable and meaningful highlights! Loved the notes of those place where 180 days is a must (I’m still waiting to one day get into Le Cellier) and those where you can often pick up a reservation late in the game. Thanks for all the work!

Jay

WOW!
Just when I thought I knew everything about the Epcot restaurants!
Half these places you listed make me think WDW opened up a new park!
Well done, and now it means we have to plan ANOTHER trip to WDW to re-experience all this.

Marilyn Maszk

As someone who has contracted full blown Disney OCD in preparing for our March 2014 trip, where there’ll be 19 of us in attendance, I can’t tell you how excited I get reading each of your new posts…in addtion to waiting for your Sunday podcasts!

I have scheduled Coral Reef for lunch, as we have marine lovers in our group, and Teppan Edo for a special dinner for just my family (5 of us). For the big group, I have also scheduled reservations for dinner at Rose & Crown. My reservations are for 7:10 p.m. I’m going to ask for back-patio seating with the hopes of being able to have a view of Illuminations, but am wondering if this time is too early for the show?

Again, LOVE your site. It is the most aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate of any that I have seen, which is a HUGE credit to your attention to detail and what I can only imagine to have been countless hours of tender, loving care on your part!

Marilyn Maszk

Absolutely! My eyes don’t hurt whenever I’m reviewing your website :). Your level of professionalism is top notch!

Elise

“Full Blown Disney OCD”- I love it. I feel ya!

Marilyn Maszk

I keep wondering if there’s something wrong with me….it’s nuts! And then I think about what I’m going to do once the trip is over :(.

Erin Jensen

I have Disney OCD too!!! Planning a trip for 15 in November 2015. I’m so glad to hear that I am not alone!

Jackie

Thanks Shannon. We were just looking at restaurants last night trying to see which ones would make a nice balance for our June trip with our daughter and grandson.

Marcy Kay

Creative and informative article! Thank you, Shannon! My family LOVED the Yorkshire County Fish Shop-great place for a quick lunch. I may consider staying in the Epcot area for this very reason (the variety of food) since my daughter is getting older.

Meridith

We ate at Biergarten (dinner) and Coral Reef (lunch) during our trip in August. Everyone in our group (grandparents, myself, DH, DS age 11 and DS age 6) loved the Biergarten. Great food and entertainment. Seeing my dad dance with my 6 year old was a trip highlight! Sat with an aunt & niece who were Disney vets and got some great tips, so the seating arrangement was a plus for us. We all liked Coral Reef–great setting & good food, but I would have felt it was way overpriced if we hadn’t been on the dining plan. My 6 year old is a very picky eater, so many of the Epcot restaurants were a no-go due to him. Love this kind of post Shannon, keep up the great work!

Dea

Marrakesh is a favorite of ours. We loved trying the sushi, as well, at Yakatori (that’s what it was when we went there). The Fish and Chips is divine. We enjoyed the San Angel walk up, and we’re trying the table service this trip (my father made the reservations, so I’m not sure which one – we’re been to the San Angel Inn in Mexico City, which is why we chose to try the Epcot restaurant). We love to eat, and we tend to snack our way around the countries. Which is why F&W truly is the best time to go to Epcot, lol!

Jennifer Jones

Dumb question. If you stay at The Beach Club do you have to pay to get into Epcot every night that you want to try all the restaurants out? Also while I am asking dumb questions 🙂 When you stay at one of the Epcot resorts can you actually walk (with children mine are 7 and 9) to Epcot and do they let you in at a different Entrance then the one I normally go in at the “front”? thanks in advance for any help! This year was I first trip to Epcot and we were PLEASANTLY surprised by how much fun we had. Next time we are thinking 2 days but depending on your answer we might change our mind 🙂

Courtnay

You have out-done yourself this time! This has so much information. Thank you!

Elise

Love this! Thank you, Shannon!!

Lisa

This was a lot of help!!! We are going for my twin sons birthday next year and was trying to find a restaurant for the lunch/dinner meal that 5 yr olds would like. Any suggestions? I was thinking the dinosaur restaurant…

Kara

Great post! As I plan our next trip, we are wanting to try out some more restaurants that Disney has to offer. We loaded up on character meals for the first time, but now I’m wanting to enjoy good food! Thank you!

Kim

Thank you so much! I have not figured out most of our restaurant picks for our May trip yet, and the 180 day mark is quickly approaching! Thank you so much for this. I am looking forward to the other parks and all of their restaurants!

Michelle Martin

I have been a follower of yours for awhile now and love finding new articles you have written in my emails. Amongst the boring ones I get lol… I always pin them to my pinterest board. I think you started following me last week (thank you by the way)
I wanted to tell you this is the most fantastic information you have done….
the range is huge, very informative, bright , appealing and making me even more adamant to get my children there asap…
Thank you again … congratulations….
Can’t wait for the next one

This is so great!! Can’t wait to see your pro/cons before my trip on Oct 26. I am so excited, it’s my husband’s first trip, and I haven’t been since 2000, when I was 12! Love your blog!!!
