I just got back from a trip to Disney World that included attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (twice!), checking out all of the adorable holiday things at Hollywood Studios, attending Early Morning Magic at Hollywood Studios, and an offsite stay.

Going to Disney December 9-14 and taking all of your advice. Last year someone posted that they were 30 minutes late to a dessert party and it was over. Group of 7 has a fastpass for Flight of Passage at 4:40 and Rivers of Light Dessert Party at 5:15. Should I stop by and let someone know that we might be a few minutes late and if so, who/where?

You can likely check in for the party before you ride Flight of Passage and mention it to them then. That will save you some check-in time after you ride so you can just go directly to your table.
