The land might not be the most vibrant or prettiest to look at, but there’s no denying it has two of the most thrilling attractions — we’re looking at you Space Mountain and TRON Lightcycle / Run.

Cosmic Ray’s is a popular place for many to grab lunch and dinner.

While the food is pretty mediocre, there are options that will please little ones or picky eaters. Because it does get busy, you should definitely take advantage of Mobile Order.

Of course, you don’t want to miss “Sonny Eclipse,” the audio-animatronic singer from the planet Zork who plays an astro-organ.

You can even find a portable phone charging station, where you can swap and purchase FuelRods.

There’s even indoor seating attached to the restaurant, which is perfect since ice cream can be a messy treat for little ones, especially on a hot day.
Joffrey’s

When you see the “Revive” sign in Tomorrowland, know this is a Joffrey’s stand, where you can purchase coffee drinks, those famous massive donuts, and other goodies. This line can get long, so be warned.
Snack and Drink Cart

Near Tomorrowland Speedway, there’s a snack and drink cart selling ice cream and bottled beverages.

Seating Areas
Tomorrowland has quite a few different seating areas, whether they be tables with umbrellas, indoor seating at a Quick Service restaurant, or benches.
You’ll find benches all around the land.

There are plenty of tables at The Lunching Pad.

When open, Tomorrowland Terrace has great outdoor seating. Just look at that view!

This area can get quite busy, but Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating.

Between Star Traders and Tomorrowland Speedway, there are built-in stone benches around the trees.

You can also sit at these tables along Tomorrowland Speedway.

At the Merchant of Venus (attached to Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies), there are several indoor tables.

Shops

Star Traders is situated between Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies and Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.

You can find all kinds of souvenirs, like T-shirts, spirit jerseys, bags, ears, and so much more.
Buzz’s Star Command

At the exit of Buzz’s Star Command, there’s a small shop selling Toy Story-themed merchandise.

From apparel, to plushes, to toys, to other accessories, there are a lot of fun items featuring Buzz, Woody, and other beloved characters.
Tomorrowland Launch Depot (opening date TBD)

This is the former Tomorrowland Light & Power Company.
Now known was Tomorrowland Launch Depot (located between the entrances to TRON and Space Mountain), you can find a range of merchandise here, including TRON-themed items.

Specifically, this is where you can try the retail experience known as the “TRON Identity Program,” which offers guests a customizable “Program” action figure and identity chip that can be used to “re-program” other merch like the interactive Identity Discs and Remote Control Lightcycles.
You can make reservations for the interactive experience online.
TRON pop-up shop (opening April 4)
Across from the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor entrance in Tomorrowland, this TRON pop-up shop features a range of items inspired by the movies and the attraction.
From apparel, to jackets, a backpack that holds a new interactive Identity Disc that doubles as an audio speaker, there are several TRON collections to browse.
Ursa Major’s Minor Mart

In the center of Tomorrowland (near Joffrey’s), you’ll find this small merchandise cart.

You can shop for bubble wands, ears, hats, pins, and more!
Attractions
Tomorrowland has a lot of attractions that are perfect for all ages, including thrill-seekers.
Astro Orbiter
Although this ride looks similar to Dumbo, it’s much higher and faster.

Similar to Dumbo and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Astro Orbiter takes you above the park and offers fantastic vantage points of Tomorrowland.

In order to board, you must take an elevator to the top.

This definitely isn’t for anyone who’s afraid of heights.
Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
This is a ride and game in one. You board ride vehicles and then aim at the Zs and earn points which appear on the screens in your ride vehicle.

If you like Toy Story Mania! at Hollywood Studios (or really anything Toy Story-themed), you should love this.

Since it stars Buzz Lightyear, while also being both a game and a ride, the attraction can acquire long waits. It’s popular for good reason.

Don’t forget to check out Buzz’s Star Command, a gift shop you’ll exit into after getting off the ride. Non-riders can also browse the shop.
Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor
A comedy show using interactive animation where characters from Monsters, Inc. tell jokes and interact with the audience.

It’s not a must-visit attraction, but it’s a fun way to take a break or fill time while you’re at Magic Kingdom.

The interactive attraction is perfect for all ages, including those who love Monsters, Inc. and telling jokes.
Space Mountain
An indoor roller coaster that takes place in the dark. The ride doesn’t go upside down but has lots and lots of drops and quick turns.

Space Mountain is an oldie, but still very much a goodie.

This is certainly a thrill ride, but one you should ride with caution.
While it doesn’t go upside down, it is very rough and jerky. Plus, the roller coaster operates in the dark, so you can’t see where you’re going.
Space Mountain might not be the best ride for kids.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
A 10 minute long laid-back tour of Tomorrowland.

PeopleMover might not look exciting at first glance, but it truly is one of the best rides at Magic Kingdom.

It’s relaxing, offers amazing views (during the daytime and nighttime), and is just all-around awesome.

This is the best and most unique way to see Tomorrowland. It’s one of our favorite rides that usually has a low wait time – or a line that moves quickly.
Tomorrowland Speedway
Most kids seem to love boarding these gas-powered cars and driving them around the track at the super fast speed of 7.5 mph. There are far better rides than this one, but the track is so big that kids are often very drawn to it and want to ride. Because of the lines that build throughout the day, this is a good one to ride at the very beginning of 1 of your Magic Kingdom days.

While not our favorite attraction, there’s no denying kids love being able to say they “drove” a car around the track on the Tomorrowland Speedway at Magic Kingdom.

Be warned: the fumes here aren’t exactly pleasant.
TRON Lightcycle Run (Opening 4/4/2023)
A coaster-style attraction that allows guests to hop on a train of two-wheeled Lightcycles, just like in the movies.

TRON is a new roller coaster that Tomorrowland so desperately needs. Even though there aren’t any inversions or spinning ride vehicles, the roller coaster is intense.
The coaster gets up to speeds of 60 mph. It’s one of the fastest coasters at any Disney theme park in the world!

While the cycles aren’t the most comfortable (both your back and calves are strapped in, while your chest lays flat), they definitely add to the intensity of the ride and make it super thrilling.
The ride is all about Team Blue racing against the Grid’s menacing Programs, Team Orange. Your goal is to be the first to race through eight Energy Gates and secure victory.

Upon opening, TRON will have a virtual queue (no standby), an Individual Lightning Lane, and a complimentary double-sided and digitized locker system.
Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress
This 20 minute attraction is a rotating carousel theater that takes you through decades to show how technology has changed over the years.

This certainly isn’t the most exciting attraction at Magic Kingdom, but definitely a nostalgic one.

It also has a catchy song. There’s no doubt you’ll leave singing, “There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow.”

This also makes a great spot to escape the rain, high temperatures, or if you need a rest (for both your feet and your eyes).
Characters
While these aren’t normal character meet and greets, you can take distanced photos with Buzz Lightyear and Stitch on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.
Meet and greet times with each intergalactic character are posted in the My Disney Experience app.

Activities
Coin Press Machines
At Buzz’s Star Command (the shop attached to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin), you’ll find a pressed penny machine.

You can pay $1 for one single penny or $5 for the complete set of 8. These pennies are themed after the ride and feature Buzz, the Aliens, and Zurg.

Near the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find another coin press machine, where you can purchase racing-themed pennies featuring Disney characters for $1 each or $4 for the entire set.

Inside Star Traders, there’s a coin press machine that has Space Mountain pennies. You can get a coin for $1 or 8 for $5.
Tomorrowland Speedway Driver’s License Photos

This is a great activity for little ones and it also makes for an inexpensive souvenir.

Near the exit of the Tomorrowland Speedway, you’ll find several driver’s license booth. You simply step inside, pay $6, and a license prints out as your keepsake!
PhotoPass
If you’re in Tomorrowland, you should definitely take time to get PhotoPass here.
This location is off of the bridge that leads into land. The castle makes for the perfect backdrop.

While not officially listed, sometimes you can find a PhotoPass photographer at the famous Purple Wall in Tomorrowland.

If not, you should still get a photo here!

Remember: unless you have Memory Maker, Memory Maker Day One, or a PhotoPass entitlement with your Annual Pass, you will have to pay to download or print these photos.
Restrooms
Tomorrowland has several restrooms, including…
Next to Space Mountain and behind the Rockettower Plaza Stage:

Inside Tomorrowland Terrace:

Outside Tomorrowland Terrace and near The Plaza Restaurant:

Next to Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies:

Near TRON:

There are also restrooms inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café.
Water Refill

There is a water refill station inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café, along with a water fountain.

Near TRON, you can find two water fountains, along with a water refill station.
Animal Relief Area

You can find an open outdoor relief area for guests visiting with service animals between the Tomorrowland restrooms and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress.
