Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

It’s a mouthful, but Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic (say that ten times fast) is where to go to pay homage to the legendary purple dragon. The treats here are sweet and colorful. AND, surprisingly, they are all pretty darn good, too. We thought they’d be over-the-top sweet, but the cake especially was well-balanced and just right.

Plus, there is an amazing rainbow flight available here – half cider, half beer. You order them separately, but if you put them together, you get the most gorgeous array of colors.

All items from the Figment Inspiration Station booth.

We like this booth for lots of reasons. The ample seating and the retro Epcot feeling we get anytime Figment is around, the fun Festival of the Arts merchandise you can snag here, and of course, we’d be remiss if we didn’t mention that this is where you snag that highly coveted Figment Popcorn Bucket, too. You’ll want to Mobile Order it first thing in the morning if you are interested in purchasing one.

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat

  • Price: $4.75
  • Special Diets: Kid-friendly
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Yum! Love this. Just the right amount of sweetness.
Heather: This has great flavor (reminds me of a cookie) but for me, it is way too sweet. But I could totally see how someone who loves blueberry might love it!
Felicia: Just okay. Tastes a lot like a blueberry pop tart with a bit of a thicker crust.

Rainbow Cake

Rainbow Cake with freeze dried SKITTLES® bite sized candies.

  • Price: $5.50
  • Special Diets: Kid-friendly
  • Rating: 4.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: So cute! Very moist and delicious. Crunchy skittles are a nice touch.
Heather: I was surprised how flavorful this one tasted! It’s sweet but not too bad. A huge serving, and beautiful presentation!
Felicia: Not a huge cake person but this is perfectly moist and not too sweet. And the artificial fruit flavor is low. I like it. Super cute, too.

Grape Smoothie

  • Price: $5.75
  • Made with alcohol? No
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Very, very sweet. Cutest cup. Nice portion size.
Heather: Grape is such an artificial flavor and I want to not like this because of that but dang it. I kinda like it. It’s also really cute, so YAY!
Felicia: Great if you love grape flavoring, smoothies, and cute cups. But tastes like medicine to me.

3 Daughters Brewing Black Cherry Hard Cider

This light in red color cider is tart with a taste of black cherry and apples.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: More watery tasting than anything. Artificially sweet.
Heather: The colors are pretty – but the flavor is not good with the sweet foods.
Felicia: Very mellow cherry flavor. Used to black cherry cider tasting like medicine and this one doesn’t. Also isn’t too apple-y.

3 Daughters Brewing Blood Orange Hard Cider

This peach colored cider tastes of apples and blood orange.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Little bland. Could’ve used a stronger blood orange flavor.
Heather: I really like this one – tastes like orange creamsicle!
Felicia: Not a strong orange flavor and isn’t too artificial. Another easy to drink cider.

3 Daughters Brewing Passion Fruit Hard Cider

This cider is bright yellow and has a bit of passion fruit flavor that is mixed with apples.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Not too sweet. Love the passion fruit flavor.
Heather: Another win in the cider category! I’m normally a cider fan but I liked this one!
Felicia: Don’t taste the passion fruit but it’s not too strong and easy to drink. Feel the whole flight is good.

81Bay Brewing Co. Green with Envy Blonde Ale

This golden ale is mild and approachable for even non-beer drinkers.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Not a huge fan of this one. Tastes like water. Needs more flavor.
Heather: Very crisp and light. This goes great with all the sweets here – I’m afraid if the taste was heavy it would mess up the flavors from the 87 lbs of tasty sugar in the cake!
Felicia: Very mellow blonde but a super cute green color. I’m a fan.

81Bay Brewing Co. Blue Butterfly Lager

This American lager makes a statement with its bright blue color.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Fairly bland. The fun is in the color more than the flavor.
Heather: Another light beer – decent flavor. It gets a 4 because of the color.
Felicia: Basic lager that isn’t skunky and is easy to drink. And such a pretty shade of blue!

Urban Artifact The Gadget Raspberry & Blackberry Midwest Fruit Tart

This bright red beer has flavors of blackberries, raspberries, and a touch of vanilla.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Strong artificial taste. Definitely lives up to the “tart” in the name.
Heather: This is my least favorite of the beers here. I didn’t like how it tastes along side the sweet – by itself, I’d probably give it a 4 but with the sugar rush here, it gets a 3.
Felicia: Yum! A fun and lightly berry flavored sour. Like that the berry flavor isn’t overpowering.
