Cuisine Classique Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

Cuisine Classique Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

One of the two new booths announced for the 2024 Festival of the Arts is Cuisine Classique. Stationed near Test Track in World Discovery, Cuisine Classique is serves up classic culinary treats like beef Wellington and roasted mussels. Well, we’re guessing mussels are classic since they are served here and the name of this food studio IS Cuisine Classique…. Disney wouldn’t lie to us, would they?!

All items from Cuisine Classique booth

We really enjoyed the Beef Wellington and the Gulf Stream Brewing Company Sum of All Colors IPA. Those 2 together make a fantastic combo. Add that to the fact that this booth is near several artist booths, a playground for little ones, AND that there are tables nearby, and you have a great place to stop as you peruse the Festival of the Arts.

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
  • Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Photos & Reviews

Beef Wellington

Mushroom duxelles, prosciutto, and puff pastry with red wine demi-glace.

  • Price: $8.75
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Yum yum yum. Delicious flavors. Little hard to cut with the plastic ware but 100% worth it.
Heather: This gets a 3 for the mashed potatoes. Too bad it’s a teeny little portion. The beef was difficult to eat. The flavor wasn’t bad – but it felt like a cheap cut of meat.
Felicia: This is delicious, but ours was overcooked. Would have given it 5 stars otherwise. The potatoes and demi glace are delicious and I could eat a whole bowl of just those.

Cast Iron-roasted P.E.I mussels

Roasted mussels with sauteed tomatoes, garlic, and fresh herbs.

  • Price: $8.00
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 3.5/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Decent portion, lots of work to dig in each mussel, good flavor.
Felicia: Great flavor and big portion. But hard to eat.

Gulf Stream Brewing Company Sum of All Colors IPA

This is a new beer brewed by Florida-based Gulf Stream Brewing Company.

  • Price: $5.75(6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Much darker than a typical IPA. IPA drinkers will like this one.
Heather: Dark and rich lots of deep flavor – A very solid IPA.
Felicia: This looks like a stout but is hoppy like an IPA. It is not as heavy as it looks but is decently hoppy.

Tesselaarsdal Pinot Noir

A South African pinot noir, this wine has hints of red cherries, raspberries, cloves, and baking spices.

  • Price: $11.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Chilled Pinot is just ok, but definitely a good pairing with the Wellington.
Heather: Such a light Pinot Noir! Very yummy! And I don’t like reds – but this one is great.
Felicia: Love this Pinot Noir. It’s mild and not too sweet or dry. And it’s served cold which is refreshing. Love it.
