The Craftsman’s Courtyard Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

The Craftsman’s Courtyard Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

Disney performed a little switch-a-roo for 2024, moving the dishes that were served here in the past over to a new booth called Cuisine Classique.

Located near Disney Traders at the 2024 Festival of the Arts, The Craftsman Courtyard has one of our “best of the fest” designees: the skirt steak sandwich. We LOVED everything about it – the size, the flavors, it was perfect and a great addition to this year’s Festival of the Arts.

Our other favorite thing here was the tasty BrewDog Jet Black Heart Nitro Oatmeal Stout. This festival seems to have a nice selection of stouts, but this one is a standout.

Because of its location, the area around this booth can get a bit congested but if you can brave the crowds, the line tends to move fast and it is well worth the wait.

Overview

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
  • Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Fantastic portion, hard to eat, nice blend of flavors with a spicy kick
Heather: It’s interesting. Not terrible – huge portion. But there are probably better options UNLESS u just love pork belly.
Felicia: I love everything about this except for the raclette. Generally like it but it’s extra pungent and not in a pleasant way. Hated the smell as we walked by the booth and hate the flavor, too. Without it, it’s a great dish.

Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Wow. What a great combo of flavors. Soft bread, onions, and blue cheese are the perfect combo.
Heather: Delicious. Tart and interesting flavor – I love the blue cheese on this! Huge portion, too!!! Plus – the beef is tender. Like my heart.
Felicia: This is incredible. Tender steak, perfectly caramelized onions, and the bleu cheese is just strong enough. Bread is firm enough to hold the sandwich together.

BrewDog Jet Black Heart Nitro Oatmeal Stout

This vanilla oatmeal milk stout has hints of coffee and is brewed in Scotland.

  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 4.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Love love love. Big fan of oatmeal stouts and this didn’t disappoint.
Heather: Delicious. Rich coffee tones. Definitely has the creaminess you want in an oatmeal stout.
Felicia: A little sweet but is a smooth stout with a great flavor. Worth a try.

Coffee Old Fashioned Cocktail

A pick-me-up of coffee added to bourbon for a twist on an Old Fashioned.

  • Price: $11.50
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Interesting combo of coffee and a more traditional old fashioned. Didn’t expect to like it but did.
Heather: Ok. Listen. I don’t love old fashioneds -but this is delicious. The coffee flavor really cuts the natural flavor of the old fashioned. Delicious!
Felicia: Love old fashioneds and cold brew, and this overall is fine but it’s just so sweet. Not bad but would prefer less sugar.
