Thinking about spending some time meeting Cinderella or Tiana or Snow White? Here’s everywhere you can meet a Disney Princess at Walt Disney World, including meals and special events.
It has taken us a while to get over the awkwardness that can come with meeting the characters at Walt Disney World, but now we actually LOVE it – especially when we get to meet and talk to the Disney Princesses at Disney World.
They are charming, funny, and a general delight to interact with. And if you have little ones who still believe in the magic, it will absolutely melt your heart when you see their faces light up when they meet their heroes.
Quick note about meeting the princesses at Walt Disney World:
In addition to the traditional meet and greets, in this post we also list out other ways you can meet the Disney princesses like character dining options and special events like the parties at Magic Kingdom Park. If you’re interested in learning more about those, we’ve got in-depth guides to help you out:
Also, while most of the characters below are “official” princesses, there are a few who are considered to be more of an unofficial Disney princess.
Now, let’s take a look at who you can find and where:
Disney Princesses by Park
If you just want to see WHO you can meet WHERE in each of the Disney World parks, here’s a handy list. But, we’ll go into much more detail for each character down below (including what outfits they wear, if they have PhotoPass available, etc.).
Magic Kingdom
As you can see by the lists below, you’ll find the most princesses at Magic Kingdom with typically around 9 places where you can meet a princess, 1 very popular princess-themed meal, plus lots and lots of opportunities to meet princesses at the parties.
Note: Sometimes at the parties, the princesses meet with their princes.
At the resorts, the only characters you’ll meet will be at a character meal at either the Grand Floridian or Wilderness Lodge:
Character Dining
Cinderella (1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian)
Snow White (Story Book Dining at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge)

Anna is as delightful to meet at the parks as she seems in the movies. You can find her in a meet and greet, but she (unfortunately) doesn’t have any character dining options, which is too bad because I bet she’d have lots of chocolate around if she did.

FAQs About Meeting Princesses at Disney World
Which park at Walt Disney World has the most princesses to meet?
Magic Kingdom generally has the most princesses available to meet. You can find various princesses at specific locations throughout the park, such as Princess Fairytale Hall, where you can meet up to 4 princesses.
Epcot is a close second, though, with princesses sprinked throughout the World Showcase.
Which character meal is the best for meeting princesses?
Your 2 best character meals for meeting the most princesses at once are Cinderella’s Royal Table and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Both of those options have 4-5 princesses who you will be able to meet throughout the course of your meal.
To know what time you’ll be able to meet your favorite princess, check the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website for the latest schedules and locations. Just note that if it is AFTER the final appearance for the day, the app won’t show any availability, so be sure to check first thing in the morning for a complete listing of all the times.
Are the lines long?
All of the princesses are VERY popular, so they can get long lines. To minimize your waits, here’s what we recommend:
Arrive early and try to make it to the first appearances of the day.
If visiting the princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall, consider using Genie+ for one combo of princesses to keep your overall wait there to a minimum.
Consider one of the parties – either Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party as the lines for the princesses at those don’t tend to be as long as what you’ll find during the regular park hours.
Do the princesses sign autographs?
Yes they do! All of the princesses sign autographs so be sure to bring your autograph book and pen with you.
Can I meet the Disney princes?
You can meet some of them sometimes, but it costs extra.
The only way you can currently meet a Disney prince is at either Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – special events that cost extra and require a separate ticket. Not all princes are available (and there have historically been more available at the Christmas Party than at Halloween), but if you want to meet a prince, that’s where you’ll have to do it.
What about Tinker Bell?
Although we would definitely include her as an unofficial princess if she were still meeting guests, unfortunately, her meet-and-greet at Town Square Theater has been closed for several years now, with no signs of reopening.
