Coastal Eats Menu & Review (2023 Epcot Food & Wine Festival)

Who’s ready for some coastal delicacies? Coastal Eats is the former Lobster Landing booth and it serves up tastes from the sea.

There isn’t a huge menu here, but that’s what makes this booth nice. It’s not overwhelming.

If you want us to narrow it down, we suggest the Lump Crab Cake with Aïoli and Vinegar Slaw and the Wildly Brut Cuvée.

The crab cake is a tad on the pricer side, especially for the portion served. As for the Wildly Brut Cuvée, we love a drink that comes in a fancy cup and one that is dry. For $7, it’s decent.

Keep in mind that sometimes eating seafood in a theme park, especially during hotter temperatures, isn’t that enjoyable. But, these seafood dishes are on the lighter side, which is why we like Coastal Eats so much.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Coastal Eats booth, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

  • Location: Near Creations Shop and Test Track in World Discovery
  • Nearby booths: Brew-Wing, Coastal Eats, Flavors From Fire
  • Nearby seating areas: Several standing tables and tables with chairs nearby, Odyssey Events Pavilion (located inside with tables and A/C)
  • Not to miss in 2023: Lump Crab Cake, Wildly Brut Cuvée
  • Total item cost: $33.50

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Allyson (Managing Writer)

  • Likes: Cheesecake (the more sweets, the better), anything mint, hazy IPAs and wheat beers (big beer fan), tofu and most Impossible dishes, mushrooms

Lump Crab Cake

A lump crab cake served with a cajun-spiced vinegar slaw.

Coastal Eats Crab Cake
  • Price: $7.00
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Felicia: The crab cake is surprisingly good. It’s a good ratio of bread to crab and has a great flavor. The slaw is kind of bland but adds a nice crunch to go with it.

Oysters Rockefeller

Oysters topped with a rich and creamy spinach sauce and cheese.

  • Price: $7.50
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Large portion. Bread crumb and spinach delicious with the oyster….and I’m not even an oyster lover usually.
Felicia: Don’t enjoy eating this in the heat, but the flavor is good. Strong spinach flavor so if you don’t like that then probably won’t like these.

Wildly Brut Cuvée

A lightly fruity but dry sparkling wine from South Australia.

Coastal Eats Brut
  • Price: $7.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Pretty good for Brut! Dry, and bubbly.
Felicia: This is a solid brut. It’s dry and bubbly and refreshing. Cute glass too.
Allyson: I liked this. It’s dry, which is right up my alley. )

Cape Codder

Cape Codder cocktail made with vodka, cranberry, pomegranate, and lime.

Coastal Eats Cape Codder
  • Price: $12.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.4/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Great portion, refreshing, slightly sweet.
Heather: Yum. Very crisp! Refreshing. Not too stiff.
Felicia: I generally like Cape Cods, but this is very sweet and tastes somewhat like cough syrup.
Allyson: I liked this. The flavors worked well together and really good if it’s hot outside.
