We know that Disney World planning isn’t easy, but especially the Genie+ part of it.
There’s a lot to learn and no way to practice until you’re actually at Walt Disney World.
Here are 3 ways you can make it a bit easier.
Save our Genie+ cheat sheets
These graphics are handy to save to your phone, and they tell you what to book when you’re in each park.
➡️ Get cheat sheets for all 4 parks
Use Standby Skipper
We’ve been obsessed with this handy tool since it launched.
Standby Skipper is like having an extra set of hands that makes it so much easier to put in your Lightning Lane wish list and let it do the work. It doesn’t do Virtual Queues or Individual Lighting Lanes, but you can snag those while it’s handling your Genie+ bookings.
➡️ Here’s our review and how it works
Attend special events
Don’t want to mess with Genie+ OR long lines at all?
Special events like the Halloween/Christmas parties and After Hours events don’t use Genie+ because the lines are short. It’s pure joy to just walk around and hop on a ride whenever you want.
➡️ Our thoughts on After Hours events
Tip: We highly recommend using the first 2 options (our cheat sheets + Standby Skipper) together for the best regular theme park day, especially when you’re at Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios.

To me, the essence of visiting theme parks is lost with too much planning. Sure, skip lines, but don't miss out on the unexpected joys.

Can't wait to try out these tips! Special events sound like they're totally worth the extra cost. Thanks for the suggestions!

Everyone's praising Standby Skipper, but I bet half the fun of the park is gone when you're just skipping lines all day. Where's the spontaneity, people?

Haha. Feel free to do that. More Lightning Lanes for the rest of us.

Love the idea of cheat sheets. I'm all over anything that helps plan a more efficient visit. Does anyone have a link to download them directly?
