Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort is 1 of 5 Value Resorts located on Walt Disney World property. It also has 2 sister hotels located nearby: Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and Disney’s All-Star Music Resort.
Being a Value Resort, All-Star Sports is cheaper per night and doesn’t offer the same amenities as Moderate and Deluxe Resorts. But, it is still a popular resort, especially due to pricing.
Here’s everything you need to know about All-Star Sports.
Pros and Cons
Pros: Affordable, fun sports theming especially suited for young kids
Cons: Small rooms, spread out, buses sometimes shared between All-Star resorts

All-Star Sports can be found in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area. For a Value Resort, it’s a decent size and has different buildings with 2 types of rooms available to book: Standard Rooms or Preferred Rooms.
The difference between Standard and Preferred rooms is the latter are located closer to the food court and transportation. This also means Preferred Rooms are higher in price.
Even though the rooms cost more due to location, they may be worth it for those who don’t want to walk far between their room and Stadium Hall, the main building where the lobby, food court, gift store, and transportation is located.
As for the buildings, they are inspired by different genres of sports. There is Surf’s Up!, Hoops Hotel, Center Court, Touchdown!, and Homerun Hotel.
There are even large-sized, sports-inspired icons outside of each building. If you wanted some great photos, these make for really cool photo-ops.
Guest Rooms And Bathrooms
Important note: All-Star Sports is currently undergoing a refurbishment. While many rooms have been completed, some buildings haven’t been refurbished yet.
There are 2 types of rooms to book at All-Star Sports. You can either make reservations for a Standard Room or a Preferred Room. The rooms can sleep up to 4 adults, total.
They are both similar in style, but the difference is Preferred Rooms cost more and are located closer to the food court and transportation.
The standard amenities are included in the rooms, including a hairdryer, TV, free WiFi, a coffee maker, telephone, in-room safe, and an iron and ironing board.
There are rooms that have been refurbished with plenty of outlets and USB ports.
The newly refurbished rooms have beds with space underneath for luggage, along with drawers, cubbies, and an open closet for other personal items. The remodeled bathrooms also have a lot of counter space and storage, as well.
Rooms that have yet to be refurbished are out-of-date, don’t have storage underneath the beds, and less storage.
Take note that some of the rooms also have a pull-down bed. You can remove the chairs from the table and pull down on the silver handles for access to another bed.

All-Star Sports Buildings
Surf’s Up
Buildings: 1 and 6 (Preferred room location)
Location Tips: Buildings 1 and 6 are located closest to Stadium Hall, which includes the lobby and food court. The bus stop is also right outside Stadium Hall. Plus, the Surfboard Bay Pool is nearby.
Hoops Hotel
Buildings: 2 and 3 (Standard room location)
Location Tips: Building 2 isn’t super far from Stadium Hall or the Surfboard Bay Pool. Building 3 sits behind Building 2, meaning you may have a longer walk to the main lobby, food court, transportation, and the Surfboard Bay Pool.
Center Court
Buildings: 4 and 5 (Standard room location)
Location Tips: Building 4 is farther back than Building 5, but depending where your room is located you may not have too far of a walk to Stadium Hall and the Surfboard Bay Pool. Building 5 is next to Building 6 and is about equal distance to both the Surfboard Bay and Grand Slam pools.
Touchdown
Buildings: 7 and 10 (Standard room location)
Location Tips: Depending which end of Buildings 7 and 10 you’re staying in, you could either be pretty close to Stadium Hall or pretty far. The same can be said for both Surfboard Bay and Grand Slam pools.

Buildings: 8 and 9 (Standard room location)
Location Tips: Buildings 8 and 9 are the farthest from Stadium Hall, meaning this can be a long walk to the food court, lobby, and bus transportation. But, these are the closest to the Grand Slam Pool.
