Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is one of five Value Resorts located on Walt Disney World property. It also has two sister hotels located nearby: Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. Being a Value Resort, All-Star Movies is cheaper per night and doesn’t offer the same amenities as Moderate and Deluxe Resorts. But, it is still a popular resort, especially due to pricing.
Overview
All-Star Movies is in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area. For a Value Resort, it’s quite big and has different buildings with either Standard Rooms or Preferred Rooms.
The latter are priced higher due to Preferred Rooms being located closer to both transportation and dining.
If you want to be in closer proximity to both the food court and to hop on a bus and also don’t mind paying more, then you may want to consider booking a Preferred Room.
The buildings are also themed to different Disney movies, including 101 Dalmatians, Fantasia, Mighty Ducks, Love Bug, and Toy Story. The decor is over-the-top and larger-than-life and make for great photo ops.
Here’s everything you need to know about All-Star Movies.
Rooms And Bathrooms
There are two types of rooms to book at All-Star Movies. You can either make reservations for a Standard Room or a Preferred Room. The rooms can sleep up to four adults, total.
They are both similar in style, but the difference is, as mentioned above, Preferred Rooms cost more and are located closer to the food court and transportation.
The standard amenities are included in the rooms, including a hairdryer, TV, free WiFi, a coffee maker, telephone, in-room safe, and an iron and ironing board.
There are also plenty of outlets and USB ports available for anything you may need to plug in or charge.
The beds also have space underneath for luggage, along with drawers, cubbies, and an open closet for other personal items. The bathroom has a lot of counter space and storage, as well.
Take note that some of the rooms also have a pull-down bed. As you can see in the photo below, you can remove the chairs from the table and pull down on the silver handles for access to another bed.
Here are the rooms you can book:
- Standard Room: Views of the Courtyard, Pool or Parking Area; 1 King Bed or 1 Queen-Size Table Bed and 1 Queen Bed
- Preferred Room: Views of the Courtyard, Pool or Parking Area; Close to Cinema Hall, Dining, Shopping and Transportation; 1 King Bed or 1 Queen-Size Table Bed and 1 Queen Bed
Note: There are also both wheelchair and hearing accessible rooms available that include accessible bathrooms and visual alarms.
You can check out room layouts below.
