Coronado Springs Resort & Gran Destino Tower

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a Moderate Resort that celebrates a combination of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest American cultures.

It is also home to a tower and the only Club Level lounge at a moderate. We like to think of it as having Deluxe amenities at a Moderate price.

Here’s everything you need to know about this lovely resort before your next visit.

Pros
  • Beautiful resort and landscaping
  • Great onsite dining options
  • Best pool of all of the moderate resorts
  • Gran Destino Tower feels more like a deluxe resort
Cons
  • Several internal bus stops
  • Corporate feel may not be best suited for all guests
Summary
The combo of being a gorgeous resort with several good dining choices, a fantastic pool, and Gran Destino (which feels more like a deluxe) makes this one of our very faves at Walt Disney World. Adults and guests with their own car are likely the best suited to stay.

Coronado Springs is described as a “newly re-imagined” resort, which is in part to the Gran Destino Tower that opened in July 2019. The tower has 545 guest rooms (including 50 suites and club-level service), a two-story lobby, meeting venues, lounges, a rooftop restaurant with stunning views, and more.

There’s even a selection of rooms that feature Club Level Service, which we go over in more detail below.

And, don’t worry, there are plenty of outlets and USB ports for charging all of your devices. Better yet, there’s plenty of storage for your belongings, including space under the bed, drawers, and closet space.
