Similar to the Refreshment Outpost, the Refreshment Port isn’t your standard Food & Wine booth.
This is a permanent Quick Service spot that you can find on the right-hand side as you walk towards Canada. It sits back a little, so keep your eyes peeled.
But, just like at every other Epcot festival, there are exclusive festival menu items sold here in addition to the daily menu (which includes traditional poutine!).
For the 2022 Food & Wine festival, the Refreshment Port is hosted by Boursin Cheese and serves “Canadian-inspired comfort food.”
Last year, this turned out to be one of our favorite stops throughout the entire festival. Even though it’s not a traditional Food & Wine booth, the festival offerings were quite good.
And — we felt the same exact way this year too! If you’re looking for a delicious cider and some even better cheesecake, this is a must stop.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Refreshment Port menu, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

Review Disclaimer
When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.
Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.
Shannon (Founder)
- Likes: Almost everything
- Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
- Dietary Restrictions: None
Heather (Editor)
- Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
- Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
- Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy
Felicia (Content Manager)
- Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
- Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
- Dietary Restrictions: None
Allyson (Managing Writer)
- Likes: Cheesecake (the more sweets, the better), anything mint, hazy IPAs and wheat beers (big beer fan), tofu and most Impossible dishes, mushrooms
- Dislikes: Wine (only likes a few dry ones), cream ales and stouts/porters, super sweet cocktails, floral flavors (lavender, rose), anything almond-flavored, things that are too spicy, olives, meat and seafood (see below)

Photos & Reviews
Traditional Poutine
French fries topped with Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs crumbles, cheese curds, and brown gravy.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Great portions and flavors.
Heather: If there wasn’t the other poutine option I’d rate this higher. I mean, it’s FINE. But the other is more fun.
Felicia: I love this. It’s available year round usually, though. So not special to the festival. Solid dish and it’s filling.
Braised Beef Poutine
French fries topped with braised beef, Boursin Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese sauce, cheese curds, and Gherkin relish.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Little salty for me, was spoiled by the flavors I preferred in the traditional poutine.
Heather: I am petitioning to be an honorary Canadian after eating this. To be fair, I love me some potatoes and cheese curds. (Although ironically, I hate the word “curd”).
Felicia: Huge portion, the meat and gravy is rich and delicious. The Boursin cheese is creamy and a nice addition. Solid food and good value.
Maple Boursin Cheesecake
A small cheesecake made with Whipped Boursin Maple Bourbon Cheese and topped with caramel and candied pecans.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Wow. Perfect creamy texture with delicious maple flavor. Really a standout option.
Heather: Holy moly. I really loved this cheesecake. Like – delicious. I think I’ll dream about it.
Felicia: Strong maple flavor, nice and creamy texture, and all around delicious. Loved it.
Allyson: As a cheesecake lover, this is very good. Great maple flavor. Definitely recommend.
Bold Rock Blackberry Hard Cider
A naturally vegan cider with a tart blackberry juice added after fermentation made by Bold Rock from the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Really fantastic light blackberry flavor, generous portion
Heather: I am not even joking. This is DELICIOUS. And very light and refreshing. Not too cider-y. Chuggable. Guys – might make my best of the fest. Stay tuned.
Felicia: I’m generally not a cider person but this is delicious. It’s not apple-y, it’s not super sweet, the blackberry is relatively mild. Would gladly get this again, even in the full size version.
Allyson: Absolutely loved this. Refreshing and not too sweet. My kind of cider.
Frozen Mango Martini
A frozen mango martini with Boyd & Blair vodka, mango nectar, and lemon.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Slightly sweet, cute cup, decent portion. Really liked the mango flavors coming through.
Heather: LOVE. Light and refreshing and they filled it really really full…so I got a LOT, and that made me happy so that means it is GOOD.
Felicia: This has a really strong vodka flavor. The mango is sweet and juicy. Not a huge fan of this but if you like sweet mixed drinks, this is a solid option.
Allyson: Refreshing and love the mango flavor but a little strong on the alcohol.
