Primavera Kitchen Menu & Review (2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival)

Primavera Kitchen Menu & Review (2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival)

The Italy pavilion is one of the more popular ones at Epcot. Who doesn’t love Italian cuisine?

Be prepared for a long line at the Primavera Kitchen booth, because this Flower and Garden outdoor kitchen seems to draw in the crowd.

That said, it’s not typically one of the better festival booths, not to mention on the pricier side. Just something to keep in mind.

All food items at Primavera Kitchen 2024

This year, every food item is new. What hasn’t changed is the drinks are generic. In fact, we decided to not even purchase the drinks this year.

The reviews for drinks are from prior years and we will not be providing a review for the new drink this year: Sauvignon Blanc. We are boycotting until they provide brand names or something unique.

Be sure to check our 2024 Primavera Kitchen must-tries, photos, full reviews, and ratings below.

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
  • Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Photos & Reviews

A salad made with mozzarella bocconcini, grape tomatoes, and pesto sauce.

Bocconcini 2024
  • Price: $7.50
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Love the cute cup, tomatoes, sauce, and mozzarella. All fresh and delicious.
Heather: It’s ok for what it is. But I would not stop here for this.
Felicia: Adorable presentation and it’s good. It’s just pesto, mozzarella balls, and sliced cherry tomatoes. Love all of those ingredients, especially together. But it’s a tiny portion and not worth the cost.

A dish made with pennette pasta, spicy tomato suace, and buttery shrimp.

Arrabbiata 2024
  • Price: $9.25
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 2.5/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: So bad. Rubbery shrimp and bland sauce.
Felicia: This is not worth the cost but it’s not too bad. Fresh tomato flavor on the sauce and the shrimp is nice and firm. I expected to hate this but I honestly kind of liked it. Would give a 4 for flavor and 2 for value.

Quattro Formaggio

A dish made with pennette pasta and a creamy four-cheese sauce.

Quattro Formaggio 2024
  • Price: $6.75
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 2.7/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Warm and creamy, decent portion. Sauce as separating so it had kind of a curdled look to it.
Heather: The pasta is cooked well, but the four-cheese sauce is grainy. If it is SUPPOSED to be grainy, then it’s fine. Otherwise – meh.
Felicia: Tastes like a cheap freezer meal. It’s a decent size portion and the alfredo is very creamy. Not much flavor.

Chocolate Cannoli

A chocolate covered cannoli shell stuffed with a peanut butter-ricotta filling.

Chocolate Cannoli 2024
  • Price: $5.75
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Have to pick it up to eat it (too hard to cut) so it’ll be messy with the chocolate. Delicious though. Crispy outer with the peanut butter filling is so good.
Heather: Love that Italy went to Costco and purchased some cannoli.
Felicia: Chocolate is delicious and the filling tastes strongly of peanut butter. Great flavor combos. Not too bad.

Peroni Pilsner

Peroni Pilsner has been the best selling Italian lager for over 150 years and is known for being a crisp and refreshing beer.

Peroni Primavera Kitchen
  • Price: $6.50 (6 oz.) / $11.00 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Bland, boring.
Heather: Meh.
Felicia: Not a unique choice but a solid beer, especially when it’s hot.

A dry sparkling white wine.

Prosecco Primavera Kitchen
  • Price: $11.75
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 2.8/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Boring, and kinda bitter.
Heather: Too thick of a flavor. I don’t know how to describe wine. Sorry, people.
Felicia: This is a good Prosecco, but I wouldn’t wait in the line for it. Kind of sweet.

Italian Red Sangria

An Italian red sangria made with Cabernet Sauvignon wine.

Red Sangria Primavera Kitchen
  • Price: $12.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 2.8/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Normally like red sangria, but this didn’t taste anything like sangria.
Heather: Great juicy flavor….but if there is wine in here, I can’t taste it. Also it is TWELVE DOLLARS. No thank you.
Felicia: I don’t personally care for this, but I think it’s well executed. If you like fruity and sweet sangria, this is probably great.

Italian White Sangria

An Italian white sangria made with prosecco.

White Sangria Primavera Kitchen
  • Price: $12.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Delicious. Fruity juice taste. Mix it up to taste the Prosecco.
Heather: Just like last year, I can taste juice…but I can’t detect any alcohol so I feel like I’m being lied to.
Felicia: Tastes like pineapple, mango, and orange juice with extra sugar added and no alcohol.

Italian Margarita

A sweet and tart cocktail made with tequila and limoncello.

Italian Margarita Primavera Kitchen
  • Price: $12.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: This was one of the best drinks at this booth. Nice tartness. Not too strong.
Heather: This is the only kind of margarita I’ll ever drink. It tastes like Countrytime Lemonade but at this point, I don’t even care. MORE, please!
Felicia: This tastes like lemonade. Couldn’t taste much alcohol. Another overpriced item but it’s refreshing.
