Tucked away between the France and Morocco pavilion is one of the most colorful and flavorful food studios at the the Festival of the Arts. Vibrante & Vivido brings the Colombian cuisine inspired by the movie Encanto to Epcot.
If you like spicy, try the empanada with chorizo. Have a sweet tooth? Then the mango cheesecake should be your pick. This booth is one of our favorites at the festival and definitely worth a stop, in our opinion.
Plus, several art booths are located in this area, and many of them are the booths that the artist visits and signs any pieces you buy. Check festival guides for specific artists and times.
Grab a yummy drink and people watch from the high top tables or benches nearby.

Chorizo and Potato Empanada
A bright Chorizo and Potato Empanada with turmeric aïoli and annatto aïoli.
This is a Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine item.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: What incredible flavors and portion size! Could make this a light meal.
Heather: Omg the flavor is so good it is just SO SPICY! Huge portion, too!!!
Felicia: Super hot and fresh, a nice spicy kick, and delicious contrasting flavors. Also, a huge portion. Great item.
Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake
New this year is the Passion Fruit-filled Mango Cheesecake with coconut-pineapple cake, dragon fruit gelée, and dragon fruit-strawberry sauce.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Beautiful presentation, nice portion, great combo of flavors and textures
Heather: I prejudged this and thought “oh, I’m not gonna like it” then I tried it and was like “yum!”. Kind of a weird texture for cheesecake and the gelee looks like cranberry sauce BUT – it has good flavor and isn’t super sweet.
Felicia: Super cute and a fun flavors. Can taste the passion fruit. But weird texture so 4 instead of 5.
Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie
A light non-alcoholic smoothie combining coconut and passion fruit.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Cutest cup with the most deliciously refreshing smoothie! Fantastic non-alcoholic option.
Heather: Strong coconut flavor, large portion, cute cute cute cup! Solid option – especially for kids!
Felicia: Adorable cup and great flavors. It’s sweet but not too thick for a creamy smoothie. Fun tropical flavors.
Frozen Piña Colada
A classic vacation drink of coconut, pineapple juice, and rum.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Ok, yum! Big fan of pina coladas and this is a good one.
Heather: Nice flavor and I like that you get chunks of fruit. Helps to balance the spice of the empanada!
Felicia: Super sweet and milky which I don’t love. But fresh coconut flavor and it’s a good size. Not bad.
Passion Fruit Daiquiri
A sweet drink made with passion fruit and rum.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Was worried this would be way too sweet, but it is the perfect balance between juice and rum.
Heather: A bit too syrupy for me – but I could really see people loving this one. I’d definitely try it if you like a sweet drink!
Felicia: Too sweet for me but can recognize the rum and lime flavors are great. And I like the passion fruit twist. Good option if you’re looking for a fruity and light cocktail.
