Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

Tangierine Cafe: Flavors of the Medina Menu, Prices, & Review (2024 Festival of the Arts)

This former-quick-service turned year-round-festival-location, Tangierine Cafe, hits all the notes for us. Multiple high-quality food items? Check. Tasty drinks? Check. Great seating? Check. Cool vibes? Check.

This is a Festival of the Arts food studio with enough variety to make a meal. Don’t sleep on the kebabs or Moroccan bread – both are delicious and well priced. Expert level hint: free ice water is available just across the way at the entrance to Spice Road Table. Grab some before you enjoy your mint mimosa.

All items from Tangierine Cafe

The one downside to this booth is that several of the items are available at ALL the Epcot festivals, but that never stops us from ordering it all. It is too good to pass up and the fact that the food here is consistently good makes it worth it to us.

Read all the details here:

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
  • Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Tender, great flavors, nice portion size.
Heather: This booth always comes in solid. I wish there was variety from festival to festival, though. It’s always the same things or at least very similar things.
Felicia: Tender chicken, large portions, and a fun flavor combination. Love this as a light meal.

Our Thoughts

Shannon: The Moroccan spices really come through in this. Slight kick to it. Good portion.
Heather: Such amazing flavor. Spicy – but full of mint and happiness. Definitely has a kick, though!
Felicia: Love this so much at every festival. Slightly spicy, great flavors in the lamb. Garlic aioli cools it off well. And the carrot and chickpea mix is a little sweet to balance the heat. So delicious.

  • Price: $5.00
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 4.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Pomegranate taste isn’t too overpowering. The firm base of this dessert keeps it from being too mushy overall.
Heather: This is a beautiful presentation, nice portion, and great flavor. The pomegranate flavor goes so well with every cider in the flight!
Felicia: Large portion and tastes similar to a chocolate raspberry mousse with a small cake layer. It’s beautiful and light and not too sweet.

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Yum. Love the light pear flavor. Not too sweet that it would overpower the food.
Heather: Holy heck this is tasty, too. I love all the ciders here!
Felicia: So so sweet. Fine flavor but like drinking non-alcoholic cider. Not much pear flavor.

Our Thoughts

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Very, very light. Appreciate it as an alternative to much sweeter mimosas.
