Florida Fresh is a new booth located near Disney Traders close to the Mexico pavilion entrance.
While this booth is new for 2023, it seems similar to Flavor Full Kitchen, which also served Grilled Street Corn on the Cob.
You can find lighter options here, including Blackened Fish Slider, Watermelon Salad, and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. Even the beverages are on the more refreshing side.
We really enjoyed this booth thanks to the many fresh and light options. Do not pass up the Watermelon Salad, because it is absolutely delicious.
The Cucumber Watermelon Slush (with and without alcohol) are both fantastic choices, as well.

Grilled Street Corn with Spicy Corn Chips
This grilled street corn on the cob with savory garlic spread and spicy corn chips. This is a new version of this item for the 2023 Festival. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Slight kick, obviously good portion as it’s a whole cob, but wouldn’t get it again
Heather: Spicy – looks soggy but it definitely feels crunchy. Just so darn messy!
Felicia: Very good corn chip flavor. Again, wouldn’t get it because I feel silly eating it, but it tastes good.
Allyson: Not easy to eat by any means but thought this had really good flavor. Though, I wish the corn chips were a little bit crunchier.
Grilled Street Corn
Grilled street corn on the cob with a savory garlic spread. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Wanted to love this but didn’t. The garlic spread is grainy and lacks flavor.
Heather: I did not like this as much as I did last year. The corn tastes a bit green. Just too messy.
Felicia: Thought the seasoning on this was delicious. Wouldn’t want to eat it because it’s messy, but it’s good.
Allyson: Good corn. Great flavor. But just really hard to eat and it will get stuck in your teeth.
Blackened Fish Slider
A slider made with blackened fish, roasted tomatoes, watercress, and citrus remoulade on brioche. This item is new for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Little too salty, other flavors not too strong, kinda bland
Felicia: The bread to fish ratio is off and the bread is dry and hard to chew. The blacken seasoning is standard but the fish tastes sort of dirty. Not for me.
Watermelon Salad
A crisp watermelon salad made with blueberries, pickled red onions, balsamic, and feta. This item is new for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Like this combo of fresh flavors. This is the kinda thing I hope to find at F&G Festival.
Heather: I’m not a huge watermelon fan (don’t @ me) but this salad is very good! Wished it was cold, though.
Felicia: Loved this. Refreshing watermelon, delicious blueberries, the acid from the balsamic goes well with the fruit and the saltiness of the feta. Yum.
Allyson: Love love love this. So light and refreshing, with fantastic flavor. Great portion too.
Florida Strawberry Shortcake
A shortcake topped with strawberries and served in the state of Florida. We will update this description with more details after we try it. This is a new item for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Huge portion, crispy shortcake, light strawberry flavors.
Heather: Great potential, but the strawberry to cake ratio is WAY off – too much cake means it is just really bland. Double the strawberries and cut the shortcake in half.
Felicia: There is a lot of shortbread and it’s a little dry, but it isn’t too sweet and goes perfectly with the sweet and ripe strawberries and delicious whipped cream. So good. Only complaint is the bread being too dry.
Allyson: This shortcake is hard and I like mine to fall apart and taste fresh. Wanted it to also have a little more sweetness.
Cucumber Watermelon Slushy
A slushy with hints of cucumber and watermelon. This slushy may also be purchased with gin. This is a new item for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: This non-alcoholic version of the drink is much sweeter than the one with gin. Don’t like it much.
Heather: Both options (with and without alcohol) are very, very tasty. Refreshing – light watermelon flavor.
Felicia: Wow, loved both versions of this. Super fresh and strong watermelon flavor with just a slight hint of cucumber. So refreshing.
Allyson: A great kid option and non-alcoholic beverage. Doesn’t taste artificial, but fresh.
Cucumber Watermelon Slushy with Gin
A slushy with hints of cucumber and watermelon. This slushy may also be purchased without alcohol. This is a new item for the 2023 Festival.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Fresh, light flavor. Small portion.
Heather: Both options (with and without alcohol) are very, very tasty. Refreshing – light watermelon flavor.
Felicia: Wow, loved both versions of this. Super fresh and strong watermelon flavor with just a slight hint of cucumber. The gin is a perfect complement. So refreshing.
Allyson: So refreshing and lovely watermelon flavor. I really enjoyed this a lot.
