How to Watch Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along has a Standby Line. There is no Single Rider Line.

Do I need to use Genie+ at Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along?

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along does not offer Genie+, nor is it needed. The theater is quite large, with plenty of seating for guests to relax and enjoy the show.

Rider Switch/Child Swap

Since there is no height requirement for Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, this show does not offer Rider Switch.

Rider Switch is Disney’s system that allows guests with small children to take turns riding bigger rides, while another person/people wait with the little one.

Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is a 14-minute retelling of the 1992 classic animated film but with a twist. The late Angela Lansbury reprises her role as Mrs. Potts to narrate this new version of the story.

The sidekick LeFou finally gets fed up with Gaston’s egotism and decides to play matchmaker for Belle and the Beast. To kickstart the romance, LeFou sends Maurice into the forest, where Belle ends up following and meets the Beast.

He also helps prepare the feast depicted in “Be Our Guest”, plays violin during the song “Beauty and the Beast” and even warns the castle’s inhabitants of Gaston and the villagers’ arrival.

Other favorite songs from the classic animated film included in this fun production include, “Belle”, “Gaston”, and “Something There”.

Is Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Kid-Friendly?

Yes, absolutely. This 14-minute Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is appropriate for guests of all ages, especially those who are fans of the original film.

Strollers

Strollers are not allowed in most queues at Walt Disney World, including Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. Instead, you’ll need to leave your stroller in the designated stroller parking area in the pavilion.

History

Disney announced the opening of the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along show for Epcot’s France Pavilion at the 2018 D23 Expo. The new film would be shown in addition to the pavilion’s current attraction, Impressions de France.

In 2019, It was announced that the sing-along would debut at the 2020 Epcot Festival of the Arts along with Awesome PlanetCanada Far and Wide, and Wondrous China.

On January 17, 2020, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along debuted.

  • While waiting for Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along to begin, guests can take in the “Tales As Old As Time: French Storytelling on Stage and Screen” exhibit located inside the Palais du Cinéma. Items on display from the Walt Disney Archives include a glass slipper from the live-action Cinderella (2015) and Belle’s costume from the live-action Beauty and the Beast (2017). It also features artifacts from the Orlando Ballet, Opera Orlando, The Garden Theatre, and Florida State University’s College of Music.
