Other Fun Details

  • TriceraTop Spin is a pun, referring both to the Triceratops dinosaur and to a spinning top.
  • The Triceratops vehicles are designed to resemble tin tops.
  • TriceraTop Spin was the fourth Walt Disney World attraction to feature vehicles flying around a central structure. The three others, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Astro Orbiter, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, all located in Magic Kingdom.
  • Watch closely because the spinning top at the center of the ride contains a surprise. A little dinosaur pops his head out of the center from time to time!
