Can people over the age of 12 still get a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? (Character Couture Packages)

QOTD Pattern option 3 SQUARE 4 - Can people over the age of 12 still get a makeover at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? (Character Couture Packages)Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is extremely popular and way back when you used to be allowed to go there as an adult.

But not anymore.

Now only kids ages 3-12 can participate and while that works for lots of families, you may have somebody a bit older (or even way older) in your group that still wants to get in on the action.

In those cases, you won't be able to get an appointment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique but you will be able to get a makeover.

Here's how...

Housed inside several of the resorts at Walt Disney World are salons that offer a wide array of services including what Disney calls "Character Couture Packages".

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is special: you can make your appointment in the castle where you get transformed by a Fairy Godmother-in-Training, there are costumes available to purchase and the experience is very much meant to be magical and dipped in fantasy.

The Character Couture Packages don't have that level of "fantasy" but they are still a fantastic option, and since anybody ages 4 and up can go, older siblings (or even mom!) can be transformed, too.

And, the other nice thing about the Character Couture Packages is that your options of who you can be transformed into is MUCH larger than what you'd find at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutque. Disney doesn't have a specific list of everything offered but they do say that the characters being offered will include "princess, villains, fab five, “galactic” styles and “hero/heroine” styles".  Disney has also said that the experience is totally customized to each guest to make it a truly "couture" experience.

The salons don't have costumes available to purchase but you can definitely bring your own if you'd like.

Thinking about heading to a special character meal or maybe even to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?  One of these makeovers would be a perfect thing to do before that!
