Voices of Liberty at Epcot

Here is some glorious news for the 2021 Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Arts. According to the official Walt Disney World website, Voices of Liberty will perform at the festival when it kicks off in early January 2021.

The extremely talented 8-part a cappella group will take the America Gardens Theatre stage in the American Adventure pavilion, where they’ll perform a new showcase called “the Disney Songbook.”

The musicians will sing different Disney songs and celebrate the “artistry of Disney composers and lyricists.”

Those are the only details we currently know, but we’ll certainly update you if or when we learn more.

Voices of Liberty performing at Festival of the Arts

The 2021 Festival of the Arts will be modified, just like Food & Wine is and the upcoming Festival of the Holidays will be. The festival, which honors visual, performing, and culinary artists, begins on Jan. 8 and will run through Feb. 22, 2021.

Even though it’s modified, there’s still plenty to look forward to, including:

  • Over 15 Food Studios around World Showcase
  • Purchase artwork from Disney and other artists that will be on display in marketplaces around World Showcase
  • Special art-themed photo locations around the park
  • A paint-by-number mural for all guests to participate
  • Visiting artists will create art live for guests to enjoy
  • Performances by Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors
  • A fun scavenger hunt as you search for Figment around World Showcase
  • The chance to purchase festival-exclusive merchandise

You can also expect to see Voices of Liberty at Festival of the Holidays. They will sing holiday carols and songs of the season in the American Gardens Theatre.

At the Festival of the Holidays, Mariachi Cobre will celebrate Las Posadas, a celebration of Mexican holiday customs through music and dance, in the American Gardens Theatre. Other performances include JAMMitors on the Mill Stage in Canada and JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season in the World Showplace.

With that, be sure to check out the Festival of the Holidays foodie guide and our complete guide to the holidays at WDW.

New “EARidescent” decor coming for the 18-mont New “EARidescent” decor coming for the 18-month long 50th celebration that officially begins on October 1.

Colorful outfits for Mickey and Minnie (do you like them better than the previous confetti version?), embellishments on Cinderella Castle, plus projections on the other park icons have been announced so far.

Was hoping for more, but I suspect they’ll be dripping the info out as they learn more about how things are going safety-wise.

What are your thoughts? Will you be making a trip for the 50th? We will!
