Best Quick Service Restaurants at Disney World

Best Quick Service Restaurants at Disney World

While character dining and nice sit down meals can be some of our favorite parts of a Walt Disney World vacation, there’s truly something to be said for the many Quick Service restaurants on property, too.

Between the theme parks, the resorts, and Disney Springs, there are plenty of places where you can grab a quick, yummy bite and still feel like you’re getting a real dining experience out of your meal, too.

Due to the fact that many of them offer standard theme park fare like chicken nuggets, pizza, and hot dogs, some people may not realize the appeal of Quick Service restaurants. But they don’t just save you time — they also offer delicious, unique menu options, many of which you can’t find anywhere else.

There are a lot to choose from, though, and the number of eateries on Disney property are overwhelming (to say the least). If you need some help while planning your meals, here are all our recommendations for the best Quick Service restaurants at Disney World.

About Quick Service Dining

Quick Service dining is Disney’s term for counter service dining. This means that you’re often going to order your food at a counter (or via the My Disney Experience app) and find a table or other place to seat yourself, so you won’t be waited on by a server or other Cast Member.

Reservations aren’t available here, so seating will be first come, first serve, and you might run into long waits during peak dining times, especially around lunch time in the afternoon. Character dining also isn’t available at Quick Service locations, and at the Magic Kingdom, Quick Service locations don’t serve alcohol (though many of them do elsewhere on property).

There are a lot of perks to Quick Service dining as well. It can be a time saver, since Table Service meals at Disney can take upwards of an hour, and the ability to Mobile Order your meals ahead of time ensures that part of your experience goes smoothly.

If you plan to use the Disney Dining Plan, you’ll also want to check out the best Quick Service Disney Dining Plan values so you are maximizing your credits and getting the most bang for your buck.

Now, read on for our favorite Quick Service dining locations at Disney World.

Though Tonga Toast is definitely the main event when it comes to breakfast, highlights at lunch and dinner include the Pulled Pork Nachos (you can ask for these without the pork) and the Pan-Asian Noodles and Vegetables. Allergy-friendly and plant-based menus are available at all mealtimes, and since this is located at a resort, there are also plenty of grab-and-go options to be found.
  • Is it kid-friendly? A kids’ menu is offered here at all meal times. At breakfast, options include Mickey waffles, an Egg White Scramble, and Steel-cut Oatmeal. Lunch and dinner offer a bit more choices, including standbys like chicken strips and macaroni and cheese along with Chicken and Pineapple Skewers.
  • Seating options: There is seating both indoors and outdoors here, but it can be hard to find seating inside during meal times since it does get busy, especially during breakfast.

  • Why we love it: Scat Cat’s Club – Café is such a fun spot for a snack or dessert at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter resort. And if you’re hungry for an actual meal along with your beignets, the resort’s food court, Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, is right next door.
