My January 2017 trip included a stay at Saratoga Springs Resort, several visits to Disney Springs, Magic Kingdom After Hours event, using express transportation to visit all 4 parks in one day, Star Wars Dessert Party at Hollywood Studios, Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, and the new Magic Kingdom welcome show and opening procedure.
Hear how it went in this episode.
I also have a quick tip for families dealing with kids who might be scared of the dark.

Quick tip of the day
Kim emailed in a tip that suggests using glow sticks on dark rides for kids who are a little scared but still want to ride. It’s just enough light to help them without bothering other guest. Thanks for the tip, Kim!

Hi Shannon, In your Podcast, you stated on your last day on the trip with your son, you took an Uber back to the airport instead of the Magical Express. I had never thought of that before but really despise spending 3 hours at the airport. Roughly how much was your Uber total from the resort to the airport? I hope you don't mind my asking. Trying to include that in the budget to spend more time in the park on our last day.

Hi, Mekia - you can open the Uber app and put in your starting and ending points to see what the fare would be. I believe it was $18-20 for the trip when we did it.

Yep! Many people who have eaten at Be Our Guest have been able to finish eating before park opening and were allowed to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before anybody else.
