Favorite Disney World apps

There are lots of apps to choose from and today, I’ve got a list of some good ones that cover everything from weather to finances to dining at Disney World.

This show also includes my very first guest on the podcast – Stephanie of CapturingMagic.me and the Capturing Magic podcast.

At the end, I’ve also got a quick tip on helping your kids prep for your trip.

Hey, You should know about Disney Expedition. It is an app for Windows Phone. It gives you the My Disney Experience on your Windows Phone. You can find the app here (http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/disney-expedition/a124e5e7-17ba-4955-b269-b4c1857fc8ce) and there is a great third party write up on DisBoards (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3282488&highlight=disney+expedition)

Loved the podcast. Just started listening to you after hearing you on CapturingMagic.me I purchased the New Trent charger from Stephanie's recomendation back in June and we LOVE it. I did buy another charger from New Trent as well that I love just as much if not more (it is a more rugged model -- this one http://www.amazon.com/New-Trent-PowerPak-Shockproof-Smartphones/dp/B00DUKJ5CQ/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1382425765&sr=8-10&keywords=new+trent+charger).

We are California natives and Disneyland/DCA has been our go to for dozens of Disney trips, and we have decided to take a trip to WDW next October -- WOW is it overwhelming! So much to figure out, especially when we plan to stay 10-14 days (making the most of $2k of airfare!).

Sunday 29th of September 2013

Hi Shannon, Loved the podcast today! I wish that I had known about the battery charger for our last trip. My battery was drained everyday (especially from the My Disney Exp app). Also, wish that I had the Coin Press one too! It gives us the chance to check it out on our next trip to get the coins we missed last time. When I click on the link for Capturing Magic, it takes me to the Coin Press link. Is there something I am doing wrong? Thanks for another week of tremendous information.
