All about Disney World lockers (cost, locations, sizes)

Lockers at Walt Disney World are a good way to store items that you don’t want to carry around, like souvenirs, an extra change of clothes, or a small cooler of food.

There are also some attractions that have lockers for those riding.

Whatever the reason you may need to use one, you’ll be happy to know that every theme park and water park at Disney World has storage lockers.

Here’s everything you need to know about Disney World lockers, including cost, locations, and sizes.

Where are the lockers at Disney World?

The lockers at Disney World have gotten fancy and high-tech in recent years.

Guests paying with credit/debit card or cash are able to rent a locker directly from a kiosk located nearby the lockers themselves.

The kiosks are really easy to use and quite self-explanatory.

If you are using a MagicBand or any other form of payment other than cash or a credit card (like a gift card) you’ll need to go to the nearest store and ask a Cast Member there for assistance.

They’ll be able to process your rental and give you a code to use back on the kiosk.

All lockers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Here’s where you can find locker rentals in each theme park and water park:

Epcot

Epcot has 2 locker locations that you must pay to use.

  • World Celebration: at the front of the park to the right of Spaceship Earth near the restrooms (with your back to the front of the park) and around the corner from the Camera Center

  • International Gateway: when you walk into Epcot via the International Gateway, you’ll find the lockers by World Traveler and at the same location as the stroller rental area

They work just like the other lockers, but are one size and free for up to 2 hours. You don’t have to use them, but they are there if you’d like to.

TRON

Inside the attraction queue, you’ll find complimentary lockers. They are a double-sided and digitized locker system.

The lockers are paired directly with your MagicBand, MagicBand+, or ticket media so you can easily lock and reopen your locker with a quick tap.

If you don’t have a MagicBand or other ticket media (such as a card), you will be provided with a card to assign your locker.

Important: Disney MagicMobile service will not open a locker.

TRON locker system

You’ll know a locker is available to use if the number is lit. All you have to do is scan your ticket, band, or access card, and it will open. We suggest taking a picture of your locker number, so you don’t forget where you stored your belongings.

There are also section numbers to help you navigate the lockers and remember where you put your stuff.

Better yet: There are even screens that you can tap on with your MagicBand or card and it will tell you which locker you used!

Anyone riding TRON must use the lockers, except:

  1. If there is someone in your party who is not riding, you can leave your items with them instead of using a locker.
  2. If you only have small items on you, like cellphones, glasses, or wallets, you can place those in the small compartments built into the ride vehicles (as seen below).

Why might you need a locker?

Wondering why a locker might come in handy? Here’s some of the most common reasons people use them:

  • Stash costumes or fancy clothes for character meals or Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
  • Store camera equipment that you don’t want to haul around all day
  • Stow lunch for later in the day
  • Store carry-ons (if visiting the park one last time before heading to the airport)
  • Stash purchases

There’s lots of other reasons, but you get the idea. Sometimes having a locker makes your day in the parks easier, but whatever the reason, Disney definitely makes it easy to use one.
