While it might not be as large as Food and Wine, but the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is one of the longest festivals at Epcot.
This year, Flower and Garden runs from March 1 all the way through July 5. So, spring until summer. That’s a lot of days.
It’s one of the best Epcot festivals and not just because of the gorgeous topiaries on display. Why do we like it so much? Thank you for asking.
We love Flower and Garden because the food just seems fresher, there always seems to be more plant-based and vegetarian options, and the weather at the start of the festival is fantastic. It surely beats those hot summer Food and Wine days.
And just like we do at Food and Wine, we are once again (our first time doing this was back in 2022) hitting up the beginning of the 2023 Flower and Garden to eat and drink every menu item from each festival location.
We want to be able to provide you with photos of everything offered, ratings, and, more importantly, honest reviews.
Below is some information about this year’s outdoor kitchens, along with links to each booth page where you can also find our photos, reviews, and ratings.
How many booths are there in 2023?
There are a total of 17 Outdoor Kitchens, with 7 additional locations serving exclusive festival offerings.
Don’t worry, we’ll be sure to give you our honest opinions on all the food and beverages.
Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Reviews
Every year, Disney brings back a large chunk of favorites while sprinkling in a few that are new.
We will have the 2023 reviews available shortly after the Flower and Garden Festival kicks off on March 1, but until then, you can take a look back at how we felt about the 2022 offerings.

What time do the food booths open at the Flower and Garden Festival?
Flower and Garden Festival booths open at 11 a.m. and typically close at the scheduled park closing time.
We have found, however, that there are times when booths run low on supplies, which might force some booths to close earlier than expected. And, we’ve also encountered instances where they have closed a bit before the fireworks started, too.
As for opening, we’ve also seen booths open earlier than 11 a.m – sometimes around 10:30 a.m.
The main takeaway is that if there is something you really want, don’t wait until the very end of the day to try to get it.
Do I need an ID to purchase alcohol?
Yes! If you want to (safely) partake in alcoholic beverage, make sure you have your ID.
Even though MagicBands may make it seem like you can leave everything in the room, you’ll need an ID to purchase drinks at the Flower and Garden Festival.
Are you traveling from outside the U.S.? You’ll need to bring both your passport and another form of government-issued photo identification from your country of origin.
The following forms of ID will be accepted as proof of age:
- US state driver’s license (includes U.S. territories**)
- US state ID (includes US territories**)
- US military ID
- Original passport
- Copy of passport—either on paper or captured on a mobile device—along with a government-issued photo ID that verifies the person and birth date shown on the copy (a foreign driver’s license or ID card is not acceptable by itself; it must be presented with a copy of the passport)
- NEXUS card issued by US Customs and Border Patrol (Canadian Guests only)
Another important thing to note is that for each purchase, it is a max of 2 alcoholic beverages per person. That means 1 person can’t wait in line to buy everything for a group of 3; you’d need at least 2 people to go through the line in that example.
