Here is some more good news for Disneyland Resort. Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel will officially reopen on June 15, 2021 with limited capacity.
Better yet, you can start making reservations right now for the on-site hotel. The Disneyland Hotel still doesn’t have a reopening date, but we will be sure to let you know when one is announced.
Important: Upon reopening, Paradise Pier will not have food and beverage offerings.
But, Disney has stated that hotel guests are more than welcome to visit any of the nearby dining locations at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and in the Downtown Disney District.
There are also select restaurants in Downtown Disney offering delivery.
Paradise Pier and Grand Californian guests can scan QR codes on their in-room TV to access links to the Downtown Disney restaurants that deliver. They can then order and have food and beverages delivered to the hotel lobbies.
Of course, if guests have valid theme park admission and a park reservation, they can also dine inside Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure — or order from another restaurant in the area.
If that isn’t enough news, starting May 28, Napa Rose and Storytellers Café will also reopen at Grand Californian.
The Disney Parks Blog notes that these two restaurants will also be open to “non-hotel guests”. However, as the official Disneyland website states, “Disneyland Resort hotel dining locations are only available to Guests with Disneyland Resort hotel reservations.”
If you have a Disneyland Resort hotel reservation, you can dine at any of the hotel restaurants, but you don’t have to be staying at that particular hotel to do so. If you don’t have a valid Disneyland Resort hotel reservation, the hotel dining locations are off limits.
At this time, there isn’t character dining and reservations for Napa Rose and Storytellers Café are set to open at a later date.
Also returning May 28 to Grand Californian is the special entrance to California Adventure for Disneyland Resort hotel guests who are visiting the park.
Currently, California residents may only visit the parks, but if you’re interested in booking a Disneyland trip or making a hotel reservation, Small World Vacations can help!
