The Citrus Blossom Menu & Review (2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival)

The Citrus Blossom Menu & Review (2024 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival)

You’re able to purchase citrus-themed food and drinks from the Citrus Blossom booth.

This year, the outdoor kitchen is stationed inside the Odyssey.

Orange Bird is always present in some way at this booth. Like past years, in 2024, guests can once again purchase an adorable sipper that comes with a non-alcoholic beverage.

Tip: When ordering the sipper, you can have the non-alcoholic beverage served in a different glass. This way you don’t have to drink directly from the sipper or worry about rinsing it out in the restroom once you’re finished.

When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.

Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.

Shannon (Founder)

  • Likes: Almost everything
  • Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Heather (Editor)

  • Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
  • Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
  • Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy

Felicia (Content Manager)

  • Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
  • Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
  • Dietary Restrictions: None

Sesame Tempura Shrimp served with an orange chile sauce.

Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp 2024
  • Price: $7.00
  • Special Diets: N/A
  • Rating: 5.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Fantastic portion, light breading, orange chile sauce is a great flavor component to the shrimp.
Felicia: The tempura battering is cooked well and is super crunchy and fresh. My only complaint is there isn’t enough of the orange sauce.

Lemon Meringue Pie

A lemon meringue pie made with lemon curd, lemon mousse, and toasted meringue.

Lemon Meringue Pie 2024
  • Price: $4.75
  • Special Diets: Kid-Friendly
  • Rating: 4.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Delish! Great portion and presentation, light lemon flavors.
Heather: Really, really sweet. Not bad. Just SUPER sweet. Kind of a fake lemon flavor, too,
Felicia: Light and flavorful meringue with a solid crust that is a nice textural contrast to the meringue. Loved it.

Orange-Lemon Smoothie

A non-alcoholic Orange-Lemon Smoothie served in a Souvenir Orange Bird Sipper Cup (limit 2 per guest).

Orange-Lemon Smoothie 2024
  • Price: $15.00
  • Made with alcohol? No
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Delicious and refreshing. Like an Orange creamsicle. Cute cup too.
Heather: I did not care for this one at all. The flavor felt so … wrong.
Felicia: The sipper is adorable and the smoothie isn’t bad. Again, I’m not a fan of sweet drinks so I wouldn’t get this personally but if you don’t mind sweet this has good flavor.

Orange Twist Imperial Ale

A strong ale brewed with orange by Southern Tier Brewing Company in Lakewood, NY.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Orange Twist Imperial Ale 2024
  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Really loved the smooth, light flavor of this beer. Would definitely order a full size version.
Heather: Super delicious! Rich and creamy and extremely flavorful. Definitely taste the orange.
Felicia: Artificial orange flavor and it’s somehow creamy tasting. Not a fan.

Lemon Drop Shandy

A bright and citrusy shandy with a 5.5% ABV brewed by Left Hand Brewing Co. in Longmont, CO.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Lemon Drop Shandy 2024
  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.0/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Kind of bland. The lemon taste doesn’t really come through.
Heather: Delicious shandy. You definitely get the bite of the lemon.
Felicia: This is light and a decent flavor. Not super strong lemon flavor. Overall it’s okay.

Tangerine Express Hazy IPA

A hazy India pale ale with notes of tangierine and pineapple brewed by Stone Brewing in Richmond, VA.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Tangerine Express Hazy IPA 2024
  • Price: $5.75 (6 oz.) / $9.75 (12 oz.)
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Bitter without the tangerine flavor coming through to balance it.
Heather: I don’t know that I get the flavors of the Tangerine BUT this is a great Hazy IPA. Not too thick – but just very fresh.
Felicia: I love this. The orange flavor isn’t too much and pairs well with the bitterness from the hops.

Key Lime Wine Slush

A frozen cocktail made with Key lime wine.

Key Lime Wine Slush 2024
  • Price: $12.00
  • Made with alcohol? Yes
  • Rating: 3.3/5

Our Thoughts

Shannon: Slightly sweet in an artificial way. Costs a lot for a small portion.
Heather: Very sweet but not too artificial tasting!?! Small glass which is kind of nice, too. But the price is outrageous, IMHO. Why is this $12
Felicia: This is tart and cold and delicious. Doesn’t taste like alcohol which could be dangerous. Maybe a bit overpriced for the serving size though.
