The Refreshment Outpost isn’t your typical Flower and Garden booth.
This is actually a permanent Quick Service spot that you can find in the Africa outpost area between the China and Germany pavilions.
But, just like at every other Epcot festival, during Flower and Garden there are exclusive festival menu items sold here in addition to the daily menu which includes things like soft-serve ice cream, frozen drinks, a range of beers, and free ice water.
It’s important to note that unlike most of the other festival booths where you can choose between 6 oz. or 12 oz. beers, you are served full-size beers/ciders at the Refreshment Outpost.
You’re served a good portion for the amount you pay, but you also want to make sure you’re not wasting your money on a big drink that you might not like in the end.
Three new beers are debuting at the Refreshment Outpost in 2024.

Seasonal Fruit Parfait
A seasonal fruit parfait served on DOLE Whip Mango with a sweet chili sauce. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Weird? Awesome? Can’t quite tell. Lots of flavors and textures combined. Would suggest for somebody who wants to try dole whip in a new way.
Heather: If you want a little something extra in your ice cream – this is fine. Not my favorite flavor combo, though
Felicia: Love this. Mango dole whip is a lovely flavor and refreshing. The fruit is fresh and delicious and the tajin and chili sauce give a nice spice. Love it
Ice Cream Float
A float made with Barq’s Red Creme Soda and tangerine soft-serve ice cream.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum! Like the tangerine soft serve by itself, and also good with this cream soda.
Heather: It is totally fine – EXCEPT, tangerines are orange, aren’t they?! I’m so confused.
Felicia: Just tastes like fruity ice cream float. Kids would probably like it. The tangerine flavor is artificial.
Lavender Martini
A lavender martini made with vodka with lavender and lemon.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Not a great balance of sweet and sour. Light. Good portion
Heather: I found this to be a delight. Sipping this makes me feel like the main character in a highlands romance.
Felicia: Lot of artificial lemon flavor and rather sweet but I didn’t hate it. Neither the lavender nor the vodka were overpowering.
Sorpresa Picante Pale Ale
An American style spicy pale ale brewed by Crooked Can Brewing in Winter Garden, FL.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Very hoppy. Generous size.
Heather: Very unique – just not a fan of a spicy beer. I can see how someone might enjoy it, though! Would probably be good with a little tomato juice, TBH.
Felicia: This has a little kick to it and I love it. Not heavy or too bitter or hoppy. Fun drink.
Woodchuck 802 Barrel-Aged Hard Cider
An apple forward barrel-aged hard cider brewed by Woodchuck Hard Cider in Middlebury, VT.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Decent, light cider. Maybe a little too bland though. Needs more flavor.
Heather: Perfectly fine cider. If you like ciders – this one might be the one!
Felicia: Not too sweet, especially for a cider. It also isn’t syrupy like they sometimes can be. The apple flavor is tart which is nice.
SweetWater Brewing Co. Fruit Punch IPA
A fruit punch flavored India pale ale brewed by SweetWater Brewing Co. in
Our Thoughts
Shannon: So good! The light fruit punch taste is a welcome addition.
Heather: My favorite out of all of the beers and ciders here. Not usually an IPA fan but this is delicious and fruity.
Felicia: The fruit flavor on this is not overt but is definitely present. Could drink this all day. Tastes like fruit punch beer.
