France remains a popular pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase, especially thanks to the food and the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
So, yes, the Fleur de Lys booth at Flower and Garden is a busy one. You might want even considering rope dropping the outdoor kitchen, that’s how busy it can get.
The frozen slushy alcoholic beverage is always a favorite, including for us. It certainly tastes wonderful on a hot day.
Compared to the 2022 booth, which was a major letdown, this year’s booth is once again a favorite for us.
Our top choices are: the croissant with goat cheese, the Provençal-style braised beef, the Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 Draft Beer, and the famous La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy.
Be sure to check our 2023 Fleur de Lys must-trys, photos, full reviews, and ratings below.

Photos & Reviews
Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre: Croissant with Goat Cheese
Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et ail Rôtie is a croissant with goat cheese, herbs and roasted garlic.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yumyumyum. Warm and perfectly melty.
Heather: I cursed in glee when I took my first bite. So very good. Warm, cheesy, and lots of flavor. LOVE!
Felicia: This is pretty good. The herb sauce on top has a nice flavor and the croissant is nice and flakey. There is a goat cheese sauce in the croissant that is good. Only complaint is it was a little dry.
Allyson: So much better than last year. Yum! Yum! Yum! Flaky and cheesy goodness.
This is a new festival item for 2023.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: What a fantastic savory option! Good portion, great flavors. Highly recommend.
Heather: This is a fancy Sunday pot roast and I AM LIVING FOR IT. So delicious. I am in love with this booth.
Felicia: Loved this. Rich flavor from the tender beef, the mashed potatoes are creamy with great flavor, and the roasted tomatoes are out of this world.
Tarte Chocolat Mogador
Chocolate tart with Valrhona single origin chocolate brownie, walnuts, and raspberry coulis served warm. This is a new festival item for 2023.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Mmm. Delicious crunch with rich flavors.
Heather: Love that this is not overly sweet. So warm and toasty and delicious.
Felicia: This is just okay. Tastes like a mass produced chocolate brownie with walnuts. There is a raspberry sauce on top that helps but isn’t enough to save it.
Allyson: A solid chocolate tart with a nice hint of raspberry. A little on the richer side.
Beignet Caramélisé: Caramelized Beignet
Beignet Caramélisé, Fourré Crème Vanille, Glacé au Caramel Fleur de Sel is a caramelized beignet filled with vanilla cream and glazed with caramel fleur de sel.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: The combo of caramelization and vanilla cream is delicious. Not too sweet but just sweet enough.
Heather: Last years burnt top is this year’s triumph. Is it just a fancy donut thingy? Maybe. But YUM.
Felicia: This is kind of like a cream filled donut topped with caramelized sugar. Nothing great about the donut and there is a lot of filling compared to pastry. The caramelized top was cooked perfectly which was good.
Allyson: Much better than last year – it wasn’t burnt! But, overall, just ok.
Kronenbourg Blanc 1664 Draft Beer
1664 Draft Beer is a French wheat beer produced by Kronenbourg Blanc.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum! What a delightfully light but slightly floral beer.
Heather: Nothing fancy…but a good beer if you just want … a beer.
Felicia: This is a good beer. Slightly sweet but refreshing. Only thing I really liked at the booth and I wouldn’t waste my time waiting in line for it. Easy to find almost anywhere.
Allyson: Just an ok light beer. Nothing fancy.
VeRy Raspberry
VeRy Raspberry is a Rosé wine with natural raspberry flavor.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Light, not too sweet.
Heather: Love this. Lovely scent and a great taste!
Felicia: Weird combination of sweet raspberry flavor and overpowering cheap sparkling wine.
Allyson: Way too sweet and I like my rose much drier.
Kir àla Poire
This Kir àla Poire is made with french sparkling wine and Monin desert pear. This is a new festival item for 2023.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Was afraid it would be too sweet, but it was just right. Small portion though.
Heather: Gosh darn it. WHY IS EVERYTHING SO GOOD HERE. Definitely on the sweet side, though.
Felicia: Overwhelming artificial pear and sweetness. No thanks.
Allyson: Too sweet. Wanted to taste more pear.
La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy
The La Vie en Rose frozen slushy features vodka, Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, St. Germain Liqueur, white and red cranberry juice.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Like the frozen drinks that are so popular in the France pavilion year round, this is a delicious option with a cranberry twist. Love love love.
Heather: The France pavilion is known for their frozen drinks, and this one is always a hit with my tastebuds!
Felicia: This is very sweet but the flavor overall isn’t bad. Another popular drink that I don’t necessarily think is worth the money.
Allyson: This is nice and refreshing, but also on the sweeter side. Can’t go wrong with Frances’s slushy drinks. But it is on the much pricer side for a drink (and for the amount you get).
