Connections Café and Connections Eatery aren’t your typical Flower and Garden booths.
They are two permanent Quick Service spots that you can find in World Celebration. The Café is Epcot’s Starbucks location, while the Eatery sells a range of food and drinks perfect for lunch and dinner.
But, just like at every other Epcot festival, during Flower and Garden there are exclusive festival menu items sold at each restaurant.

Flower and Garden items weren’t offered here in 2022, because both locations didn’t open until after last year’s festival began.
This year, the Café and Eatery each have their own respective festival offerings.
Keep in mind that the line at the Café can get very long, since this is Epcot’s only Starbucks location. So if you want that waffle, you will have to wait – even though, spoiler, it’s not worth it.
The Eatery also has Mobile Order. You can sometimes also hop in line and order before the location officially opens at 11 a.m., which you may want to do since it can get very busy here during lunch and dinner hours.

Review Disclaimer
When it comes to our reviews and ratings, we thought it would be helpful if you had a better understanding of our personal preferences (what we like and don’t like), along with if there are any dietary restrictions.
Here’s a breakdown of not only who is doing the reviews, but a little more information about what each of us likes and doesn’t like food and drink-wise.
Shannon (Founder)
- Likes: Almost everything
- Dislikes: Beers that taste “stinky,” anything too salty
- Dietary Restrictions: None
Heather (Editor)
- Likes: Strong flavors, anything made out of potatoes, white wines, all beers (especially stouts and wheat beers), doesn’t mind sweet (plain fruit is NOT a dessert. Ever.)
- Dislikes: Things that are too spicy, anything with a bone still in it, cocktails with too much whiskey or tequila (thanks to having too much fun in college), some red wines, most IPAs
- Dietary Restrictions: Shellfish allergy
Felicia (Content Manager)
- Likes: Mezcal, savory drinks, stouts/lagers/wheats/sour beers, vinegar, tart/sour items, chocolate, fresh vegetables and fruits, red meat
- Dislikes: Ciders, sweet drinks, anything milky or creamy, chili powder, cumin, weirded out by textures, mayonnaise, saucy/wet food, cream-filled pastries, artificial fruit flavors, cooked fruits, frozen items (drinks or ice cream)
- Dietary Restrictions: None
Allyson (Writer)
- Likes: Cheesecake (the more sweets, the better), anything mint, hazy IPAs and wheat beers (big beer fan), tofu and most Impossible dishes, mushrooms
- Dislikes: Wine (only likes a few dry ones), cream ales and stouts/porters, super sweet cocktails, floral flavors (lavender, rose), anything almond-flavored, things that are too spicy, olives, meat and seafood (see below)
- Dietary Restrictions: Vegetarian (personal choice)
Photos & Reviews
Orange Bird Liege Waffle
A house made waffle made with brioche dough and topped with a white chocolate Orange Bird medallion.

Our Thoughts
Shannon: Cute but not good. Would stick to the regular liege waffle and skip this festival option.
Heather: Great for a picture but not much else. Too much stuff on this – stick to the plain one unless you love sweet things.
Felicia: It’s alright. The white chocolate is delicious. But it’s not special. Cute, though.
Allyson: Cutely decorated, but simply a waffle with just ok flavor. And it’s hard to eat the way it’s packaged. The regular liege waffle at Connections Eatery is the only liege waffle to eat.
Flower Drop Cocktail
A cocktail made with St. Germaine Elderflower Liqueur, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and Minute Maid Premium Lemonade.

Our Thoughts
Shannon: Oh man, soooo sweet. Light and refreshing but like drinking a sweet tart.
Heather: First drink of the day – and I really, really loved it. Probably because it has lemonade and it was refreshing because I am H-O-T.
Felicia: Very sugary and has an odd artificial grape flavor. Doesn’t taste like alcohol.
Allyson: A nice and light refreshing cocktail, but a little too sweet for me.
