It might not be the return of the Disney Dining Plan, but this new offer does have to do with dining at Walt Disney World.
The Disney Dining Promo Card is now available for bookings beginning January 5, 2023. Guests will be able to use the card during select dates in summer 2023.
Guests can get up to a $750 Disney Dining Promo Card that can be used to purchase food and beverage items at participating locations at Disney World.
You must book at least a 5-night, 4-day non-discounted room and ticket package (4-day ticket and 4-night minimum required). The dining promo is only available for arrivals from June 25 to September 14, 2023.
This cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. This offer excludes the following room types: campsites, 3-bedroom villas, and Cabins at Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Important: There is only one Disney Dining Promo Card distributed per reservation, with the initial balance based on the check-in date, the resort category, and the number of nights. The value is calculated per night, not per guest.
July 1-10 and August 1-September 14 arrivals:

Once you arrive at your resort and complete check-in, the Disney Dining Promo Card will be sent to the email associated with your reservation from Disney Gift Card Services.
If you don’t see it in your inbox, be sure to check your spam folder. If you have any issues receiving the card, you can ask the Front Desk for help.
If a package includes more than $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card, the value will be distributed across more than one Disney Dining Promo Card.
Keep in mind that the card cannot be loaded into the My Disney Experience app, meaning it is not available with MagicBand, MagicBand+, or MagicMobile. But, you can add it to Apple and Google mobile wallets.
When using the card, you simply present the barcode, which will be scanned. You can see your remaining balance at the bottom of your transaction receipt. You can also ask the food and beverage location to check for you.
You can also check your balance by visiting DisneyGiftCard.com (you’ll have to enter both the Account and EAN numbers) or calling the phone number (877-650-4327) listed at the bottom of the email you receive.
Locations that are unable to accept the Disney Dining Promo Card include, but are not limited to:
- Merchandise locations and candy kitchens
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel and Walt Disney World Swan Reserve Hotel
- Dining locations at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort
- Dining locations at Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Official Hotels at Bonnet Creek
- Dining locations at Walt Disney World Gateway Hotels
Any remaining balance on the card will not be converted into cash, but will expire on September 30, 2023. If you shorten or extend a stay, no adjustment will be made to the value or expiration date.
Current bookings can be modified to add the Disney Dining Promo Card, but keep in mind that reservations booked prior to January 4, 2023, will be moving into the new product that was previously announced for December 8, 2022, along with any associated pricing changes. You could see a balance due even if your package is paid in full.
While this may be a good deal for some families, there is always a chance that another discount could save you more money. Be sure to do your research before finalizing any bookings.
