Can I use the Disney Dining Plan at the Flower and Garden Festival?
Yes you can! Many (nearly all, in fact) of the food items and most of the non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased using Snack Credits from the Disney Dining Plan.

Even though most items are eligible as Snack Credits, the value of each item can vary, which means the more expensive the eligible item is, the better use of that Snack Credit. Using the average cost of eligible snacks across all of Walt Disney World, we’ve been able to assign a value of about $6.00 per credit.
So, anything you purchase that is more than $6.00 is a great deal, but for anything less than that it is probably a better option to just pay out-of-pocket for (unless you just have an overwhelming number of credits to use up, that is).
Flower and Garden Festival Best Snack Values
Ok, let’s dive into the BEST options for using those Snack Credits. Not only are these items more than that $6.00 mark (or in a few cases, at least $6.00, but a huge portion), but they also taste good, too, with each earning at least a 4/5 in our reviews.
Bauernmarkt (Germany)
The Toasted Pretzel Bread is one of just a handful of $6.00 items we’ve included on this list, but as you can see from the review and image below, it is a large portion that tastes great.
Toasted Pretzel Bread
This isn’t just any toasted pretzel bread, but it’s topped with Black Forest ham and melted gruyère cheese.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Little salty and tricky to eat, but loved the combo of ham and melted cheese flavors.
Heather: Skip the potato pancakes and get this instead! Delicious.
Felicia: Absolutely delicious. The pretzel is soft. The ham is crispy and full of flavor and there is plenty of salty delicious cheese. Pretty filling, too.
BRUNCHCOT (near Test Track)
BRUNCHCOT has several delicious items to choose from, but if you’re using a Snack Credit here, use it on the Avocado Toast.
Avocado Toast
This is avocado toast with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese on toasted ciabatta. This dish is also part of the Garden Graze, the food crawl where you can earn a prize.

Shannon: Bread was nicely toasted, presentation lovely, and nice portion.
Heather: It is pretty and fresh. The toast is buttery and delicious. All-round great option here.
Felicia: Beautiful dish. The portion is large, and the avocado and tomatoes taste fresh. Love this dish
Citrus Blossom (Odyssey pavilion)
We love shrimp – and this tempura option is not only a large portion (great for sharing!), but it also tastes delicous.
Orange Sesame Tempura Shrimp
Sesame Tempura Shrimp served with an orange chile sauce.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Fantastic portion, light breading, orange chile sauce is a great flavor component to the shrimp.
Felicia: The tempura battering is cooked well and is super crunchy and fresh. My only complaint is there isn’t enough of the orange sauce.
Fleur de Lys (France)
France is kind of known for their festival booths, but to be honest, we sometimes don’t love the offerings as much as others appear to. BUT – we do love this croissant. So delicious!
Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre: Croissant with Goat Cheese
Croissant au Fromage de Chèvre, Herbes et ail Rôtie is a croissant with goat cheese, herbs and roasted garlic.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yumyumyum. Warm and perfectly melty.
Heather: I cursed in glee when I took my first bite. So very good. Warm, cheesy, and lots of flavor. LOVE!
Felicia: This is pretty good. The herb sauce on top has a nice flavor and the croissant is nice and flakey. There is a goat cheese sauce in the croissant that is good. Only complaint is it was a little dry.
Florida Fresh (in between the Rosewalk and Disney Traders)
Florida Fresh is home to the most expensive snack item at the festival – and thankfully, it is also delicious. Plus, if you aren’t into lobster, they have a Cuban sandwich that we all gave a solid 5/5.
Grilled Warm Water Lobster Tail
A grilled warm water lobster tail topped with a Key lime butter.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Great portion and delicious flavor. Key like butter adds a fantastic touch. Great value on the dining plan too.
Felicia: Delicious key lime butter on a perfectly cooked lobster tail. Great value on the dining plan. Overall delicious.
Cubanito
A miniature Cuban sandwich made with mojo-marinated pork belly, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and stone ground mustard sauce.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Admittedly I’m a huge fan of Cuban sandwiches, and I do really like this one. Mustard really comes through and all the flavors are delicious.
Heather: Hella delicious! COME ON – this is a hearty little snack and oh so yummy!
Felicia: Great flavors on perfectly crispy bread. Love it.
Hanami (Japan)
Not only did Japan wow us with their drinks this year, they also had a fabulous cold ramen that was a surprising hit with us.
Ramen Cup
A ramen salad shaken in a cup with fresh vegetables, grilled chicken, and dashi broth with chili oil and yuzu.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Surprised how much I liked this. Interesting concept to have everything in a cup that you can shake up. Enjoyed the light flavors. Has a little kick to it.
Heather: Such excellent flavors! I love this and the fact that it is cold is a huge bonus.
Felicia: I didn’t expect to like this but I do. It’s a cold noodle salad but the flavors are great. A little bit of spice but not too much. Perfect for the heat. The yuzu flavor really comes through.
Honey Bee-stro (near Port of Entry)
It feels like every year we fall more and more in love with this Chicken and Waffles option at Honey Bee-stro. The chicken is always super tender and the waffle is cooked to perfection!
Chicken and Waffles
Crispy honey-brined chicken and honey sweet cornbread waffle with whipped honey butter and spicy honey.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Sooo good. Surprising flavors in the waffle. Has a little kick to it.
Heather: It is sweet, a little spicy, and really, really good.
Felicia: What a fun twist on chicken and waffles. The corn bread waffle is tasty and soft. The chicken is crispy and spicy in a good way. And the honey butter is the perfect amount of sweet.
Jardin de Fiesta (Mexico)
The Mexico line is often long – and for good reason. There are 2 solid options here that are well worth a snack credit.
Tamale de Rajas
Poblano peppers, corn, and cheese in masa topped with poblano cream sauce, crema mexicana, pickled carrots and onions with chives.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Don’t even normally like tamales but this is delicious. Good portion and love the creamy sauce.
Heather: Me before my first bite “I don’t like the texture of tamales.” Me after my first bite: GET YOUR GRIMY HANDS OFF MY LATEST OBSESSION! This is delicious. And hearty. Loved it!
Felicia: Everything about this is delicious. It’s cheesy, a bit tangy from the salsa verde, and the corn on the tamale is perfect. Big portion, too.
Sope de Chilorio
Guajillo pepper-braised pork on fried corn shells with black beans, shredded cabbage, crema Mexicana, queso fresco, and chives.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Hard to cut but otherwise fantastic. Great presentation, portion, and delicious flavors.
Heather: Damn Mexico is coming in strong. This is good, too! Fun flavor and the combo of textures is interesting!!!! But it doesn’t feel like a festival item. That’s my only complaint!
Felicia: This is good. The fried corn shell and solid and holds the ingredients well and the flavors are delicious. Good mix of ingredients.
La Isla Fresca (between Morocco and France)
We absolutely love everything at this booth, but if you’re looking to use a snack credit, stick with the IMPOSSIBLE Jamaican Beef Patty to maximize your credit. Not only is the serving huge – but it is delicous, too!

Shannon: Huge, huge portion. Delicious flavors. Has a kick. Could be a light lunch.
Heather: The flavors in this are amazing. Spicy without being too hot, the crisp shell is a treat. A definite win for me!
Felicia: Huge portion and big flavors. The IMPOSSIBLE meat is a great substitute and the Jamaican flavors are fun and delicious. Only didn’t give it a 5 because the shell was very crunchy and a little hard to eat.
Magnolia Terrace (American Adventure)
Another delicious sandwich option can be found at Magnolia Terrace. Even though it is barely above that $6.00 mark, the portion is large, and the flavors are fantastic.
Muffuletta Panini
A muffuletta panini with ham, salami, mortadella, provolone, and Swiss with olive salad.

Shannon: Nice portion, good flavors. Slightly salty.
Heather: So very good. Love the olives. Great flavor – nice portion size
Felicia: Huge portion, so much delicious melty cheese, salty olive salad complements that complements the sandwich well. The bread on the muffuletta is crispy and great.
Northern Bloom (Canada)
Our Canadian friends to the north came in strong this festival, but for the best use of your Snack Credits here, stick to the Beef Tenderloin Tips!

Beef tenderloin tips, mushroom bordelaise sauce, and whipped potatoes with garden vegetables.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Really loved this. Better than previous years. Tender meat, delicious potatoes and crunchy carrots.
Heather: The mashed potatoes and gravy are on point. The beef was incredibly tender. I didn’t love this last year-but bless the Canadians for giving us this mouth masterpiece.
Felicia: The bordelaise sauce and mashed potatoes are good and the beef this year is super tender and delicious. So much better than last year and I love it.
Pineapple Promenade (near Port of Entry)
Probably best known for being the home of Dole Whips during the festival, at Pineapple Promenade you can also get a tasty full-sized spicy hot dog that also tastes great.
Spicy Hot Dog

Our Thoughts
Shannon: Love the flavors and crunch. Slightly spicy.
Heather: I do like a spicy wiener. It is TOO spicy this year, though. And, I did not like the crumbled chips on top. Eww, David. BUT – lots of other people seem to really love it!
Felicia: Flavors were great and liked for a hotdog. Spicier than I remember but in a good way. Lots of interesting flavors and the plantain chips make the texture a lot better.
Tangierine Cafe (Morocco)
Tangierine Cafe is one of our favorite booths year after year – and this flatbread, while barely hitting that $6.00 is so delicious we couldn’t leave it off this list.
Mediterranean Flatbread
Mediterranean Flatbread with chermoula, roasted vegetables, artichokes, olives, and feta cheese.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum yum yum. What a fantastically colorful and flavorful flatbread. Great size too – could make a light lunch if it.
Heather: One of my favorite items at this festival. The tangy cheese with the sweet tomatoes and the bite of the olives – DELISH. This is not your generic flatbread!
Felicia: Absolutely delicious. The bread is doughy but holds up to the toppings. Lots of good flavors with the sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, and olives. The cheese and sauce on top are also so flavorful and delicious. Huge portion. Love.
Trowel and Trellis (near Disney Traders)
Even meat lovers are going to like this IMPOSSIBLE meatball. The flavors are so unique!
Impossible Farmhouse Meatball
An Impossible farmhouse meatball served inside lentil bread with spinach, marinated vegetables, and creamy herb aioli. This item is part of the Garden Graze Food Stroll.
Our Thoughts
Shannon: The wrap alone has a lot of flavor, let alone the delicious ingredients inside. Has a slight kick to it.
Heather: Definitely lots and lots of flavor! The only part of this I didn’t love was the lentil bread. The texture wasn’t something I’m used to.
Felicia: Wow, this is so flavorful and fresh tasting. Lots of different textures and flavors happening and they are all good. Great portion too.

What can I use my Disney Dining Plan snack credits for at a festival booth?
You can use your Snack Credits for most non-alcoholic items at the festival booths, typically including small plates, desserts, and some beverages.
How will I know what is an eligible snack item?
The easiest way to know what counts as a Snack Credit is to look for the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) symbol next to eligible items on the menu boards at each booth. If in doubt, you can always ask the Cast Member at the booth, too.

What happens if I don’t use all my snack credits?
Unused snack credits will be forfeited at the end of your stay, so it’s a good idea to use them up! Epcot festivals can be a great opportunity to try a variety of dishes and make the most of any remaining credits.
Can I use snack credits from multiple days in one day at the festival?
Yes, you can use any of your allocated snack credits at any time during your stay, including using multiple days’ worth of credits in a single day at the festival.
