It’s time to assemble, because we finally have an opening date for Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure!
Disney announced on April 8 that the Marvel-themed land will officially open on June 4, 2021.
Check out this video shared by Disney showing a first look at the land. It sure looks like Marvel fans will be pleased!
In addition to the already existing Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!, guests will be able to experience the following when Avengers Campus opens.
Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB): Will house the new WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, the first Disney ride-through attraction featuring Spider-Man. Yes, Tom Holland will also reprise his role for the ride.
Pym Test Kitchen: A food innovation science lab serving inventive food and drinks ranging in size. There will also be a Pym Tasting Lab, where guests can have a craft beer or a Pym Research Staff’s Pym Particle-infused cocktail experiments. Both locations will offer Mobile Order.
Shawarma Palace: A food cart serving a shawarma wrap and will be decked out with Avenger memorabilia. There’s also a Terran Treats food cart near Mission: BREAKOUT!
Guests may even have the chance to encounter their favorite superheroes, like Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor, and Loki.
Better yet, guests might get to see Spider-Man swinging above the campus!
Doctor Strange will even train recruits in the mystic arts during this show at a nearby ancient sanctum. At night, the area will glow with majestic colors and lights. You can see this in the first video above.
There’s also an E-Ticket attraction that will open during Phase 2, so stay tuned!
Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are set to reopen on April 30 after being closed for over an entire year due to the ongoing pandemic.
Upon reopening, only California residents may visit the parks, in line with current state guidelines. You can keep tabs on the latest Disneyland reopening information courtesy of our handy guide.
