Hollywood Boulevard at Hollywood Studios

And the park hour updates continue. Hours for all four Walt Disney World theme parks have been extended for the final weekend of September.

This means Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom will remain open one to two hours longer than previously listed for Friday, Sept. 25, Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27.

Here are the updated hours for all three days:

  • Magic Kingdom — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Epcot — 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Hollywood Studios — 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Animal Kingdom — 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You know what this also means? Guests can actually enjoy the parks after dark! It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to do that due to the shortened park hours that were first put in place when WDW reopened in July.

Beginning Sept. 8, park hours were shortened even further, but the hours have been fluctuating and mainly on weekends as of late. Plus, hours have also changed for the 2020 holiday season.

There have been a lot of hour alterations over the past couple weeks, so here’s a complete breakdown of the latest updates to help you keep track.

Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom
 Animal Kingdom

  • Sept. 25-27 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Nov. 1- Dec. 5 — 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Epcot

  • Oct. 3 and Oct. 10 — 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Nov. 1-26 — 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 27-Dec. 5 — 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Hollywood Studios

  • Sept. 25-27 — 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Nov. 1-Dec. 5 — 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Magic Kingdom

  • Sept. 25-27 — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Nov. 1-5 — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Nov. 6-Dec. 5 — 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Of course, it’s always best to check My Disney Experience for the latest hours before you plan your day and head to the parks.

We will of course keep you in the loop regarding any future hour changes. And for all of the latest WDW updates, be sure to keep an eye on our WDW reopening page and our 2020 & 2021 vacation planner.

I just got back from a five night stay at Coronado Springs and had the best time! Even though I went during the busy season I barely waited in any lines and was able to do everything I wanted!

Anybody else fall in love with the Hollywood Studi Anybody else fall in love with the Hollywood Studios decor and want to have these vintage Christmas ceramics at home? 🙋🏻‍♀️ Here’s how.

For original vintage pieces, search “Lefton Christmas ceramics” or “Napco Christmas ceramics.” These often run you $100+ and can usually be found on Etsy, eBay, and other resale stores.

For less expensive replicas, check out VermontCountryStore.com which has a small - but more affordable - collection, including the trio of candy cane girls.

They haven’t been appearing as reliably as Alice, Mary Poppins, Joy, and Winnie the Pooh, but be sure to be on the lookout when passing the Royal Sommerhus in Norway where they might just show up.

This is the Rivers of America - the water that surrounds Tom Sawyer Island and the location where the Liberty Square Riverboat is usually located.

This area has been drained since late October, and it will be closed at least through February. They’re doing refurbishment work during this time.

This is a pretty common (and one of the only) downside of traveling this time of year - more projects being done. A small price to pay to not sweat or battle busy crowds. 😰
