Can you believe we are already talking about the holiday season?! But as Disney says, it is never too early to start counting down to the most magical time of the year. To get things started, they’re kicking off Halfway to the Holidays with some tidbits on what to expect at Disneyland in 2023.
Disneyland Christmas has always held a special place in the hearts of Disney enthusiasts, and this year promises to be no exception. With captivating attractions, awe-inspiring decorations, and a host of unforgettable experiences, Disneyland is all set to create lifelong memories for visitors during the 2023 Christmas season.
They haven’t given us too much info, but here’s what they’ve shared so far:
New Holiday Outfits for Mickey and Minnie
As Christmas approaches, Mickey and Minnie Mouse are preparing for their grand entrance in brand-new mid-century modern inspired holiday attire.
These beloved characters, adorned in their festive holiday pastel outfits, will be spreading joy and cheer throughout the park. Not gonna lie, this is absolutely THE most adorable thing we’ve ever seen, and we can’t get past just how dapper they look. Everything is simply perfect, down to their matching holly brooches, which Disney says were crafted by Minnie herself! Great job, Minnie!
Attraction overlays
Disneyland is renowned for its ability to breathe new life into beloved attractions, and the Christmas season is no exception. We are excited to say that “it’s a small world” Holiday returns for 2023.
If you’ve never had the chance to check it out, imagine taking a journey on “it’s a small world” while being serenaded by holiday tunes and witnessing the iconic facade bedecked in sparkling lights. It is simply breathtaking.
In addition to “it’s a small world”, it was already announced that the Haunted Mansion would also receive its seasonal transformation courtesy of Jack Skellington and the Nightmare Before Christmas.
