Complete guide to Festival of the Arts at Epcot

The newest of Epcot's festivals is Festival of the Arts which has several unique offerings from the food to the entertainment to things you can find throughout the park.

Here's a guide to when it is, what you can do, and see how it compares to Epcot's other festivals.

What is Festival of the Arts?

This is a festival that brings together the visual, culinary, and performing arts. Below, you'll see some of the details about how they do that.

How much does it cost?

Attending the festival is free with Epcot admission, but some events are an extra charge.

When is it?

In 2018, it will be held January 12 - February 19, 2018.

Though it only took place on weekends in 2017, it will take place 7 days a week in 2018, with the entertainment (see more info below) taking place a few days a week.

What exactly takes place during the festival?

Food booths

Though all Epcot festivals feature food booths, there's special attention paid to the presentation with the booths. Almost too pretty to eat!

Workshops and seminars

There are a mix of workshops and seminars available during Festival of the Arts. Some are complimentary, and some cost extra.

How to plan your time

Since this festival takes place at a time of year that has fantastically mild temps, it's fairly easy (and comfortable) to fit into an afternoon and evening if you'd like to spend the morning touring or have a late arrival.

It is popular with locals so if you plan to attend on one of the weekend nights, you might consider a dining package to get the vouchers for the shows. However, if you plan to attend on Monday, the vouchers shouldn't be necessary since it's much less busy that day.

Comparing to other Epcot festivals

Epcot has become a park with practically year-round festivals. Here's how their offerings compare.
